1. He represented M/s Pristine International Traders C/o Mr. John Hanton aka Jitarthi Das in a case titled as The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust Vs. Thomson Press (India) Ltd and Anr before the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay, India wherein, the BBT alleged about the Copyright violation committed by M/s Pristine International Traders in publishing Srimad Bhagavatam, which was ultimately settled by BBT with Mr. John Hanton and the matter was disposed of amicably.

2. Mr. Lokanath Swami filed a Suit before Delhi High Court against Ms. Saraswati (Sara) Richardson Jones & Mr. Dominic Johnson (aka Damodara Dasa) seeking compensation for defamation for posting certain contents against him on social media and was initially successful in getting the stay/directions to take down all that material and to restrain them from posting any further. He appeared for Ms. Saraswati (Sara) Richardson Jones & Mr. Dominic Johnson (aka Damodara Dasa) and contested the matter on their behalf and raised several legal objections and was successful in getting the case withdrawn by Swami Lokanath and the stay order against Ms. Saraswati (Sara) Richardson Jones & Mr. Dominic Johnson (aka Damodara Dasa) was dismissed.

Dr. Poorna Chandra Gandhi Kaza, M.Sc., Ph.D., formerly the IGP and Director of Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory (APFSL) who retired from this position in 2007 to start India’s first Independent Non-Profit Forensic Science Laboratory in the name of Truth Labs an affiliate of Truth Foundation. He started his career in 1970 soon after obtaining his Master’s Degree in Physics by joining the Intelligence Bureau and specialized in forensic investigation services and later served the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) and upon his selection by AP Public Service Commission, he joined AP State Police Forensic Services in 1976. He also served as Head of Forensic Science wing of AP Police Academy as Deputy Director between 1988-1992.

As Director he transformed APFSL into a leading lab catering to the needs of the entire country and making forensic science popular not only in the police and judicial circles but also in all other government, non-government and private sectors. During service period, he also obtained Ph.D. in Physics from Osmania University, AP (1986) and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College, CUNY, New York (1987).

During his 15 years of tenure, he brought several radical reforms that have changed the forensic science scenario across the country. During this period, he also visited to undergo and acquaint himself with training and development of forensic science in premier institutes of the world such as Interpol, Lyons, France; Scotland Yard, London, UK; Bundes Criminalante, Frankfurt, Germany; RCMP, Ottawa, Canada; NRIPS, Tokyo, Japan, etc. He set new standards by making AP Forensic Science Laboratory the first Government Department in India to get ISO 9001 certification in 1999, later it became the first forensic lab to get ISO 17025 NABL certification also.

Some of the important cases examined during this period include Naval war room leak case, JMM bribery and other cases involving corruption at high places, J&K sex scandal, Godhra aftermath riots case referred by UK Embassy in India, etc. During his current tenure as Chairman, Truth Labs he was responsible for forensic investigations in Prashant Bhushan’s doctored tape case, 2G scam, Coal scam, Vyapam case, Cochin Ship crash case, JNU video case, Malaysian Deputy PM Anwar Ibrahim sodomy case to name a few.

Besides being a pioneer in the application of forensic sciences for crime detection, Dr. Gandhi has introduced:
