The Cost of Silence and The Cost of Silence II

The two documentary videos, The Cost of Silence and The Cost of Silence II, seek to expose and raise awareness on the widespread and systemic child abuse that has occurred—and, tragically, in some cases, continues to occur—within Hare Krishna (ISKCON) schools around the world.

Viewed individually, each incident described in the videos might appear to be an isolated case. However, taken together, the testimonies and evidence reveal a disturbing pattern. The documentaries piece together a larger picture—one that suggests the existence of a consistent and deeply troubling system, a kind of “playbook” that ISKCON has followed for decades—one that continues to produce victims.

As the films unfold, it becomes increasingly difficult to dismiss the idea that these abuses are not merely the result of negligence or chance, but the consequence of deliberate policies and choices made—and perpetuated—by ISKCON leadership over the past fifty years.

Though these videos are a few years old, today the GBCs continue to ignore the abuse of children in the Vrindavana Gurukula. Faculty members that are known to have abused children continue to work in the school with impunity.

Delhi High Court Rejects Lokanath Swami’s Plea for Interim Injunction, Ms. Saraswati Sara Richardson Jones and Mr. Damodar Das Score Major Legal Victory

New Delhi, September 15, 2025:

In a significant setback to Lokanath Swami, the Delhi High Court has refused to grant the interim relief sought by him in his defamation suit against Ms. Saraswati Sara Richardson Jones and Mr. Damodar Das, and Facebook/Meta. The Swami had sought an order directing the defendants to take down their social media posts against him, but the Court declined to intervene at this stage.

After hearing the arguments of Mr. Vivek Sood Senior Advocate and Mr. Ajay Garg Advocate who appeared on behalf of Ms. Saraswati Sara Richardson Jones and Mr. Damodar Das in CS(OS) 704/2024, Hon’ble Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav recorded that the defendants, through their written statements, had justified the comments made in the public domain. The Court also took note that after August 10, 2024, no further posts had been made by the defendants reiterating the allegations.

This means that the social media posts of defendants Saraswati and Damodar Das against Lokanath Swami— which were the subject matter of the suit — will continue to remain online, marking a major legal victory for Ms. Saraswati Sara Richardson Jones and Mr. Damodar Das.

The Court was also apprised by the counsels for the defendants that a criminal complaint has already been filed by Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation with the Indian Authorities against the systemic child abuse prevalent in ISKCON’s institutions in India for a long period of time and Lokanath Swami is also one of the accused in the same besides other Guru and religious leaders of ISKCON like BVPS etc.

The order underscores the Court’s view that free expression on matters already in the public domain cannot be lightly curtailed, especially when the same are justified.

DECEIT IN GBC BOOKS “NOT THAT I AM POISONED” AND “DECEPTION”

To all ISKCON GBC’s, officers, managers, temple leaders, and devotees:

In 1999-2000, Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning suspects organized with their funds and disciples a secret fraudulent “investigation” as the mis-titled book Not That I Am Poisoned (unanimously endorsed by the GBC, now unavailable). This subverted the honest investigation into Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning by GBC-appointed Balavanta das. Then in 2020 the GBC relied heavily on their agent Mayesvara das’ misguided book full of absurd claims and denials, aptly-titled Deception. But the GBC, nor its agents, are qualified forensic experts, crime investigators, or legal professionals. So far, their evidentiary denials lack both scientific and legal foundation, meant to mislead us with deceit, lies, obfuscation, and misinformation. The GBC has suppressed and opposed all impartial investigation of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, persistently denying and covering-up the evidence.

In this series, we examine major absurdities and falsehoods propagated by the ISKCON GBC in the face of actual truth. Several accurate, factual books and many white papers have been published on the evidence in Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 heavy metals poisoning. Yet, the GBC repeats their same flawed narratives, contradicting Srila Prabhupada’s own words and the many forensic, audio, toxicological, medical, and legal studies/analyses which confirm Srila Prabhupada’s homicidal, lethal poisoning. The GBC has been disgracefully dishonest.

GBC’S DECEIT # EIGHT of TEN:

OFF-THE-WALL CONCLUSIONS, SELECTIVE OMISSIONS

(1) GBC stated that since many devotees ate Srila Prabhupada’s maha prasadam in 1977 and they did not become ill, therefore Srila Prabhupada was not poisoned. This insane logic assumes Srila Prabhupada was poisoned via food that was then distributed. However, most likely, poison was given intermittently or in food/drinks which were not distributed. Poisoners would know not to poison others too, to avoid detection.

(2) GBC never explained their hero Tamal Krishna Goswami’s “mercy killing” interview, Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning statements, nor Srila Prabhupada’s conversation with his caretakers, who clearly accept and acknowledge Srila Prabhupada’s homicidal poisoning. Why?

(3) A GBC film included a clip from Primeau Forensics on how whispers are often misinterpreted by what the listener wants to hear, recommending a forensic analysis, and yet, the GBC never countered eight expert audio forensic studies on these whispers with their own study. Why?

(4) GBC stated that caretakers would not talk/whisper about poisoning on tape, so the “poison theory” is ridiculous. BUT: multiple forensic studies have verified the poison whispers, so it appears the caretakers thought the tape recorder could not pick up their background speaking! Also, why were they whispering?

(5) GBC says the “poison theory” was concocted from nothing due to malice. What matters is the messenger’s hidden motives, not the real evidence? This is standard propaganda methodology: to attribute an ill motive to the adversary and discard the facts. But the evidence of poisoning is irrefutable, certified, and not a theory.

(6) GBC book: “To suggest that Srila Prabhupada felt like he was being poisoned by his most trusted men implies he didn’t have common sense to immediately send anyone away he did not trust. …he could summon mystic powers and know who was betraying him… Srila Prabhupada just went along with it? Srila Prabhupada would have outsmarted his envious disciples and is offensively portrayed like a confused martyr, willing to sacrifice his own life, being so tolerant, compassionate.” This errant interpretation negates Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning? This idea that he would have saved himself and stopped the poisoning is flawed. Jesus accepted his crucifixion, carrying his own cross, and did not use mystic powers to save himself. Did Haridas Thakur stop his tormentors? What of Prahlad or Mirabhai? Yes, the pure devotee has inconceivable mercy and tolerance.

(7) GBC: “With all due respect to Dr. Morris and his Hyperpure Dermanium Generator Detector at Univ. Missouri, he simply isn’t a toxicological expert.” But Dr. Morris did not make a toxicological evaluation of the cadmium findings (he simply did the tests). Meanwhile, the GBC has no experts on 250 X normal average hair cadmium, and instead, they ridicule Dr. Morris. Such hypocrisy! Dr. J S Morris has testified in court hundreds of times and his credentials were never questioned.

(8) GBC: “If this were heard by a trial jury, the prosecuting attorney would have to explain with great detail where the poison was acquired, who obtained it and how they learned to administer it.” Actually, the hair tests are court-quality proof that Srila Prabhupada WAS lethally, homicidally poisoned, and who did the poisoning is a separate issue. The GBC ridicules the notion of cadmium poisoning as “complicated, difficult.” But cadmium salts are readily available and can easily taint food/drink, and hair tests prove a lethal poisoning took place. A six-year forensic study by Truth Labs (India) determined the caretakers did it, likely led by Tamal.

(9) GBC: “This poison conspiracy has caused so much alienation, hurt, resentment, and chaos in all branches of the Vaishnava community, and this rumor has been so disruptive to Lord Chaitanya’s movement.” Well, the truth can hurt, but ultimately it heals, and honesty is the best path. Why hide from or fear the truth? We must use our intelligence to ascertain the truth. Study the facts and evidence-- judge for yourself.

(10) GBC: “The hair samples, which changed hands many times, were not stored in a clean, controlled environment and could have even been replaced with other hairs by a zealot disciple, are all possible.” This is false. The hair samples’ chain of custody was impeccable, fully documented, and the GBC had custody throughout (and no one else). Dr. Morris was engaged by the GBC’s Balavanta das. This doubt-mongering is dishonesty and deception. Why does the GBC disparage the tests they arranged with Dr. Morris and invited others to pay for? Further, there is so much other evidence confirming the hair tests.

GBC’S DECEIT # NINE of TEN:

CADMIUM IS NOT A VIABLE POISON

The GBC engaged Dr. VV Pillay, a poisons expert in south India, who was paid peanuts, and from his video comments it is obvious he was grossly misinformed about the actual evidence (which he should verify before making comments). Dr. Pillay clumsily, ad hoc, and embarrassingly repeated the same error, making faulty assumptions, and then criticized the very notion of a lethal cadmium poisoning:

(1) That the poison was metallic cadmium, which has a strong taste, which a victim would notice, therefore the idea of cadmium poisoning is silly.

(2) That it was one acute lethal cadmium dose, which would produce extreme gastrointestinal distress, nausea, vomiting, pain, and therefore it would have been easily discovered.

Thus, he mistakenly dismissed the idea of cadmium poisoning: “the symptoms of cadmium poisoning would be so obvious that an average clinician would immediately detect it, it would be impossible. Much before such levels accumulate, the person concerned would be in severe health complications that would be apparent to all.”

Why did Dr. Pillay not consider the obvious option of cadmium salts (chloride, sulfate, nitrate), which have no taste, smell or color? How can a “poison expert” not know this? Actually, Srila Prabhupada did suffer greatly from stomach pain, especially during his periodic, critical health attacks in 1977. Both cadmium metal and salts cause stomach pain, nausea, anemia, indigestion. Also, cadmium poisoning is very difficult to recognize. In 1977, despite the health crisis, no one knew what was the cause.

Conclusion: Dr. Pillay’s faulty arguments in no way nullify the Dr. Morris-MURR hair test results.

GBC’S DECEIT # TEN of TEN:

THEIR MISINFORMATION AND DISQUALIFICATIONS

GBC agent Mayeswara das was personally trained by Tamal Krishna Goswami and he has defended Tamal’s legacy and character. He defends the ISKCON GBC policies and track record. Being a “company man” loyal to a corrupted leadership that has rendered ISKCON unrecognizable from what Srila Prabhupada left us in 1977, he has become similarly corrupted. He has embraced the same hypocrisy, word games, dishonesty, name-calling, and extreme bias as his superiors. This discredits his defense of the GBC’s poison, guru hoax, and child abuse cover-ups. Mandapa das: “Mayeswara comes across as a nasty man full of hate and bias, who can hardly control himself. His denial project must have cost the GBC quite a few bucks. I had business dealings with him and […] I have little regard for him.”

The GBC has ridiculed Dr. Morris-MURR with insults and denigrations, labelling “poison conspiracists” as emotionally damaged/sociopathic whose agenda is destruction of Lord Chaitanya’s movement. The GBC advises Dr. Morris in how to do proper NAA tests, and say he did inaccurate tests. Such audacity and preposterousness renders discussions with the GBC useless, and they invariably resort to character assassination rather than address the facts and high-standard forensic analyses.

DHIRA GOVINDA DAS-- ASSESSMENT:

FROM HIS REVIEW OF THE GBC ENDORSED BOOK “DECEPTION”

“My conclusions of what Srila Prabhupada was expressing, in important ways, do not align with what you write. For ex., on p. 221, Deception: ‘Based on prior portions of this dialogue, Bhakticharu Swami was confirming that Srila Prabhupada was still concerned that his disciples had misunderstood him and they might think he was accusing someone of poisoning him.’

“My understanding […] of these conversations, is that Srila Prabhupada clearly was concerned, experiencing distress, that someone or perhaps more than one person, was giving him poison with murderous intent. […] several of those who are around Srila Prabhupada are clear that Srila Prabhupada is experiencing mental distress because he is concerned that someone is giving him poison with malicious intent.

“As far as the contention that Srila Prabhupada and those around him were only speaking and concerned about the sometimes-toxic effects of some medicines, that stance doesn’t at all hold up. […] they are speaking about a case of poisoning by murder, and […] a case of murder by poison of an acharya (P. 359, Tamal Krishna Goswami: ‘Jayapataka Maharaja was telling that one acharya, Sankaracharya, of the Sankaracharya line… he was poisoned to death…’

“So, Srila Prabhupada was expressing and concerned about being given poison with murderous intent, and those around him were clear about that. That is clear to me from […] hearing audio recordings from Srila Prabhupada’s conversations from that time. To me, the interpretations you give in your book, to a significant extent, sound and seem quite twisted, strained.

“Further […] when I read, Vol. 36 of Conversations, Tamal Krishna Maharaja say, “Srila Prabhupada, Sastriji says that there must be some truth to it if you say that. So, who is it that has poisoned?”- my understanding is that Tamal Krishna, at this time, is clear that someone has attempted to give poison to Srila Prabhupada, with homicidal intent; or at least, he is clear that Srila Prabhupada clearly believes or at least is concerned, that someone is giving him poison with murderous intent. Tamal Krishna Gosvami isn’t asking whether someone has poisoned Srila Prabhupada. He is asking, “Who is it that has poisoned?” Thus, for Tamal Krishna, the question of whether Srila Prabhupada was poisoned, or at least whether Srila Prabhupada thinks that someone has been giving him poison, is already decided in the affirmative. That’s my assessment…”

DECEIT IN GBC BOOKS NOT THAT I AM POISONED AND DECEPTION

GBC’S DECEIT # FIVE of TEN:

DR. MORRIS AND MURR MADE ERRORS AND ARE NOT HAIR TEST EXPERTS

It is untenable that Dr. Morris (MURR) made errors in Srila Prabhupada’s 1999-2005 hair tests. He has done thousands of Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) tests on tiny samples over many decades, and this, in fact, is his professional expertise and in which he is superbly qualified. By thousands of unique tests, he has perfected and refined his techniques, with 95% accuracy. We have far more confidence in Dr. Morris’ results than in the dishonest, fraudulent GBC politically motivated denials of the “poison conspiracy.”

Dr. Morris, on the other hand, is an honest academic-scientist with no ulterior motives. The forensic scientific breakthrough he discovered “accidentally” reveals the truth about Srila Prabhupada’s final year. After Balavanta’s one arsenic test, the GBC did no forensic hair tests. Actually, the GBC chose to send hair samples to MURR for testing in 1999, and when they did not like the results, they criticized Dr. Morris. So why did they choose him?

Dr. Morris has done extensive testing and academic research on archeological artifacts, being a pre-eminent expert on NAA tests on elements such as arsenic and cadmium in human tissue and hair. He is a world leader in NAA hair tests and an expert on normal/abnormal levels of the same. Yet, the GBC blathers that Dr. Morris did not know how to do proper NAA tests, which is infantile nonsense.

In three separate hair tests (Samples A, D, and Q-2) Dr. Morris found similar sky-high cadmium levels over a 3-year period, when he did numerous other NAA tests with his accurate testing regime. On each of his six Srila Prabhupada hair tests, he refreshed his testing calibrations and calculations, finding similar levels of cadmium, arsenic, antimony, and mercury. Six tests, 4 elements, 22 values, no contradictions. This consistent cross-correlation between the three cadmium tests, one arsenic test, and normal values in two pre-1977 hair tests irrefutably validate his findings as highly accurate and reliable.

Dr. Morris’s findings are not to be taken lightly or easily dismissed. Dr. J. Steven Morris, at a high degree of professional scientific competence, followed rigorous procedure in his analysis and calculations. NAA was the best method for testing these samples. Srila Prabhupada’s hair contained about 250 X or 25,000% above average. False statements that Dr. Morris never tested hair before doing these tests, or that he did not have sufficient sample weight for a successful test, or that he used an incorrect testing method—are GBC lies. It is absurd for the GBC to criticize Dr. Morris.

GBC’S DECEIT # SIX of TEN:

CADMIUM HAS NOT BEEN USED IN HOMICIDES, BEING UNSUITABLE

The GBC insists the idea of homicidal cadmium poisoning is ludicrous because it was unknown in 1977 and there are no such cases on record. This is untrue. Cadmium poisoning studies began with Friberg (1950) and Bonnell (1955), and cadmium’s causing critical, life-threatening kidney malfunction became well-known. Japan’s 1960’s “itai-itai” incident involved hundreds of victims due to industrial cadmium poisoning of rice fields. Heavy metal poisoning methodologies were widely known in scientific and medical literatures. The 1960's discovery of Napoleon's poisoning was highlighted in the 1972 book Who Poisoned Napoleon? And Toxicology of the Eye by WM Grant (1974) cites: “Ingestion of cadmium salts has caused severe and sometimes fatal poisoning.”

Long before Srila Prabhupada was poisoned, cadmium was well known as a suitable homicidal poison. Cadmium homicides are increasingly in the news. Many assassinations by various intelligence agencies use cadmium, strangely similar to Srila Prabhupada’s heavy metals cocktail with cadmium, arsenic, and antimony. Cadmium salts are very feasible poisons for any college chemistry study major or with a good chemistry knowledge (such as Bhakticharu, Swarup Damodar, Madhava, others). Cadmium’s homicidal suitability is that it causes symptoms that are difficult to recognize and common to many ailments. GBC lies that cadmium is not easily available is ridiculous—toxic cadmium salts are usually in high school chemistry classes!

GBC’S DECEIT # SEVEN of TEN:

WRONG DATA AND FALSE FACTS

Throughout the two GBC books, wrong data and false facts are continuously cited. These inane attempts to “debunk” the “poison theory” are adorned and decorated with gross misinformation and lies. The GBC is dishonest, an enemy of truth, and a master of deception.

(1) The GBC mis-states that the “Poison in the milk” whisper comes 20 minutes after Srila Prabhupada drank milk when actually it comes 2 minutes before.

(2) GBC: “To accuse anyone of conspiring to poison another human being with little more than rumors, controversial whispers, unconfirmed lab studies on suspicious evidence is blatantly reckless...” This is a gross mischaracterization of the massive evidence confirmed by multiple leading forensic labs and experts.

(3) GBC: cadmium poisoning is possible only by inhalation, but this is false. Oral ingestion is the obvious route for intentional cadmium poisoning. A salt, such as cadmium chloride, is water soluble, odorless, colorless, and tasteless.

(4) GBC: “Cadmium ingested via the mouth is passed out of the body without being absorbed.” But this refers to the rare, unstable metallic form of pure cadmium, and is false anyway. Cadmium chemicals are the obvious way to poison someone, which are readily absorbed in the gut-- even a few grams are lethal.

(5) GBC: “Truth is, the coroner diagnosed the cause of death as kidney problems due to diabetes.” But this is false. There was no coroner, autopsy, or doctor report after Srila Prabhupada passed away, and no blood or urine lab test results exist today, nor are any specific 1977 lab tests even remembered by anyone. However, the cause of death can be asserted simply from the hair tests.

(6) GBC: “Dr. Morris needed at least 1 mg… but could only find hair dust.” But this is a patently false accusation- Dr. Morris very accurately tested 0.00012 grams of actual hair pieces, after which the hair was reduced to radioactive “dust.” He did not test hair dust.

(7) GBC: the ICP-MS testing methodology is far better than NAA and Dr. Morris used the wrong testing method on the hair samples-- but this is scientifically false and ridiculous faultfinding. NAA is the best method, which can test much smaller quantities than ICP-MS. The science of hair analysis is highly advanced and reliable. Actually, there are many expert opinions confirming Srila Prabhupada’s 250 X normal cadmium (15.73 ppm) to be lethal and “prima facie evidence of poisoning with malicious intent.”

(8) GBC: “Another less often used NAA reason for studying hair forensics is to confirm the identity of a crime suspect by comparing samples of his hair to a strand of hair found at a crime scene.” This is bad science and false-- DNA tests (not NAA) determine the identity of a person.

(9) The GBC complained that their hair samples that were sent to Dr. Morris were “stolen,” and so, the tests are questionable. However, those who completed the GBC hair tests and paid for them did not steal, or touch these hair samples, which have scientifically, irrefutably proven Srila Prabhupada’s homicidal, lethal poisoning.

(10) GBC: “…cadmium poisoning is just too unpredictable, complicated, risky, and unreliable and that cadmium always accumulates in the body slowly over years and that large amounts of cadmium will simply pass through without being absorbed into the blood.” But this is all scientifically false. A tiny bit of cadmium chloride has quickly ended many lives.

So, the ISKCON GBC’s only business is to mislead, deceive, mischaracterize, lie, and deny. Dishonest!

DECEIT IN GBC BOOKS “NOT THAT I AM POISONED” AND “DECEPTION”

GBC’S DECEIT # TWO of TEN:

SRILA PRABHUPADA WAS POISONED BY MUSTARD OIL, YAMUNA WATER, OR RICE

The ISKCON GBC and its agents suggest myriad impossible ways which “could” explain Srila Prabhupada’s high cadmium levels, e.g., “…it may have come from mustard seeds, the Yamuna River, or by eating rice.”

REPLY: Mustard seed oil was used to massage Srila Prabhupada daily, including his head, so did they cause his lethal cadmium levels? Recent-year analyses found tiny traces of cadmium in some mustard seeds and oils. But this hypothesis is crazy- Srila Prabhupada’s masseurs (and millions of others) would also have died after a prolonged illness, but this is not the case. Mustard seed oil cannot cause lethal cadmium poisoning, and today’s mustard seeds are not even causing any known illnesses! Massage oils are excluded as an explanation.

As far as hair dye, creams, sprays, and chemicals go, they can externally contaminate the hair or be adsorbed. A person’s personal history and habits should be known to rule out possible external hair contamination. And Srila Prabhupada did not use these items, and besides, they could not produce even a tiny fraction of his cadmium levels. The cadmium source was NOT exogenous, but assimilated internally from the blood (endogenous).

The GBC’s book Deception, p. 37, insinuates Srila Prabhupada’s lethal cadmium maybe came from exogenous sources (dust, shampoo, oils, or anything external). However, Srila Prabhupada’s levels were far higher than what external contamination can produce. His 1977 hair with 250 X normal cadmium levels conclusively rules out accidental or external contamination. Also Dr. Morris at MURR examined the hair samples before testing under a high-powered microscope and found no external contamination, ruling out this possibility.

Suggestions that Srila Prabhupada’s lethal cadmium levels came from slightly tainted medicines, massage oils, rice, shampoo, air, dust, pesticides, food, etc.- are fatally flawed. Trace contaminations cannot result in 250 X normal. Do the math. It is not possible. And where are the other victims besides Srila Prabhupada? The GBC deceitfully pretends that slightly elevated could be lethal, and is like equating a drop of water to a river.

The GBC et. al. suggested that the contaminated Yamuna River, where Srila Prabhupada bathed once in 1976, was the source of his lethal cadmium. Preposterous! This is scientifically impossible.

GBC’S DECEIT # THREE of TEN:

SRILA PRABHUPADA WAS POISONED BY THE WATER HE DRANK IN INDIA

REPLY: The GBC book Not That I Am Poisoned proposes that Srila Prabhupada’s elevated arsenic levels came from the water he drank in India, where there is an arsenic health crisis due to machine-dug, deep-bore water wells made since 1983, years after Srila Prabhupada’s passing away. He drank water from wells that did not yet exist? Further, the GBC honest investigator Balavanta das tested the water sources from which he drank in 1977 (in Vrindaban and Mayapur), and they had normal arsenic levels. So, their “water theory” was debunked.

Also, in 2004 Dr. Morris at MURR tested a container of Srila Prabhupada’s “last drinking water,” saved as a sacred relic since 1977, and it had normal levels of arsenic, cadmium, and antimony. It is impossible, from these levels, even in 100 years, to accumulate Srila Prabhupada’s lethal cadmium levels. Srila Prabhupada’s heavy metals levels did not come from the water in India.

GBC’S DECEIT # FOUR of TEN:

HIS CADMIUM LEVELS CAME FROM THE HAIRCLIPPERS

Anticipating this claim, Balavanta das, the GBC’s honest investigator, in Feb. 1999 called Exxon (USA) and received a Material Safety Data Sheet on petroleum lubricating oils with their ingredients, which were absent any significant arsenic or heavy metals. “Not expected to be harmful to internal organs if absorbed through the skin. Ingestion: Not expected to be harmful if swallowed. Inhalation: Not expected to be harmful if inhaled. Contains a petroleum-based mineral oil.”

Further, GBC agents in 1999 tested Wahl hair clipper oil at Scientific Services, a health services department of the Australian government, and had NO significant arsenic. It is obvious that if, over the course of the last century, any widely used item/product (Wahl clipper oil, drinking water, food, jewelry, etc.) had lethal amounts of cadmium (or anything), it would quickly become known.

No scientific study was found of cadmium poisoning victims with over 2 ppm in their hair. Even in serious industrial cadmium pollution cases, average hair levels were only 0.387 ppm, one-fortieth of Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 average 15.73 ppm. His pre-1977 hair Samples ND-2 and J had normal cadmium and arsenic, and they were exposed to the same clipper and massage oils as Samples A, D, and Q-2 (with lethal cadmium levels).

Also, Srila Prabhupada’s hair clipper head was tested by Chemical Solutions Ltd, USA (2008) for cadmium and found to have 12 parts per BILLION, which is infinitesimal, and cannot result in hair levels of a multiple of 1333 at 15.73 pp Million. And Sample A just touched the clippers for a second when it was cut.

Srila Prabhupada’s lethal levels of hair cadmium did not come from the clippers or oils. Truth Labs in India did a 6-year forensic study (audio, medico-legal, etc.) and issued a report in Sept. 2024 which determined, based on scientific evidence, that Srila Prabhupada was homicidally poisoned with cadmium by his caretakers.

So, the ISKCON GBC’s only business is to mislead, deceive, mischaracterize, lie, and deny. Dishonest!

DECEIT IN GBC BOOKS “NOT THAT I AM POISONED” AND “DECEPTION”

To all ISKCON GBC’s, officers, managers, temple leaders, and devotees:

GBC’S DECEIT # ONE of TEN:

“THE CADMIUM CAME FROM TAINTED AYURVEDIC MEDICINES, ETC”

A GBC agent: “What we will explore here is a [sic] of ways that might explain for those high [cadmium] readings in the samples tested by Dr. Morris.” The absurd suggestions are that pollution in Calcutta and Los Angeles, weeds and trucks in India, snuff, mustard seeds, intra-oral dental alloys, rice, water, and Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 medicines “might” explain the sky-high, lethal cadmium levels found in his hair samples, through tests arranged by GBC agents themselves in 1999.

FACTS: There is a false assumption that Srila Prabhupada took large amounts of ayurvedic and allopathic medicines in 1976-77, but he did not, and he routinely refused allopathic medicines. He also did not take any of the ayurvedic medicines referenced by the GBC that had slightly elevated cadmium, as found in recent studies. During his last 18 months Srila Prabhupada took only a few Ayurvedic medicines:

(1) He took Yogendra Ras (with mercury as an essential ingredient) until Nov. 1976, and then again in April-June 1977 for 2 months. But the mercury in all of Srila Prabhupada’s hair tests were NORMAL.

(2) In March 1977 he briefly took Somara-rasayana (no heavy metal ingredients.)

(3) Before March 1977, he took little or no Ayurvedic medicines besides Yogendra Ras. Hair Sample D (19.9 ppm cadmium, 300 X normal) was cut in March 1977, reflecting the prior month’s blood contents, when very little medicine was taken. Thus, Sample D actually rules out medicines as the source of the ultra-high cadmium. After March 1977 he took some allopathic or ayurvedic medicines, but each only very briefly.

(4) On Oct. 25-26, 1977 Srila Prabhupada took perhaps 3 doses of Makharadhvaja, which cannot explain the sky-high cadmium in Srila Prabhupada’s hair samples (Samples D, A, Q-2; all cut in prior months). Makharadhvaja was taken LONG AFTER these hair samples were cut, and cannot be retroactive.

(5) Further, the GBC tested Srila Prabhupada’s leftover Makharadhvaja medicine (Jan. 6, 2000)- it had no cadmium and normal mercury. And, the GBC investigator Balavanta das tested (Feb. 11, 1998) Srila Prabhupada’s leftover Yogendra Ras from April 1977, and it had no cadmium or arsenic, and normal mercury.

(6) According to scientific literature, the average normal cadmium in human hair is about 0.064 ppm, yet three samples of Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 hair averaged 250 X as much, almost 16 ppm. The GBC fails to explain how possibly (slightly) tainted medicines that may result in a few times the normal, at far less than 1 ppm, can account for 250 X normal.

It is preposterous and scientifically untenable that modern day, slightly cadmium-elevated medicines could explain Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 lethal levels when he never took these medicines. Then, why have millions not died from this? Yes, some recent-year ayurvedic medicines have TRACE amounts of cadmium, but a tiny fraction of what Srila Prabhupada had in Samples D, A, and Q-2- this can never accumulate to 250 X above normal.

No ayurvedic medicine contains cadmium as a deliberate ingredient. Cadmium has no positive biological function, unlike arsenic, mercury, etc. Ayurvedic medicines in 1976-77 likely were not tainted as some are nowadays. Recent studies on “possible health problems” caused by tainted medicines, ones not even taken by Srila Prabhupada, do not explain his lethal cadmium poisoning. The Truth Labs 2024 forensic study-report confirmed this was not an accident and due to an intentional, malicious, homicidal poisoning.

The GBC has suggested other sources (water, rice, mustard seeds, massage oil, etc.) as explanations, but at most they cannot result in even a fraction of 1 ppm cadmium. No scientific study was found where victims of any kind of cadmium poisoning had over 2 ppm in their hair. Even in cases of serious industrial cadmium pollution, the average hair levels were 0.387 ppm, one-fortieth of Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 average.

So, the ISKCON GBC’s only business is to mislead, deceive, mischaracterize, lie, and deny. Dishonest!

ISKCON:SILENCING TRUTH WITH LIES AND MISINFORMATION

All too much, in the extended ISKCON world community (IWC), uncomfortable, inconvenient truths that deserve curiosity, reflection, and study are met instead with ridicule and disdain. Bearers of truth and facts are not welcomed, but labelled ISKCON enemies. Rather than eliciting sober introspection, truths and facts are derided as flawed. IWC leaders, typically wrapped in saffron respectability, deflect accountability and silence dissent while disseminating misinformation and lies to the innocent who are sheltered under self-serving illusions and defective doctrines.

Whistleblowers and defenders of philosophic fundamentals who pull back the curtain to reveal institutional corruption or systemic abuse, once respected for their courage and honesty, are now cast as heretics or lunatics. Their revelations, no matter how soundly or meticulously documented, and based upon serious study of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings, are dismissed before they are even heard, buried under campaigns of character assassination. Lives of service are destroyed and reputations dismantled, just to preserve a façade of institutional infallibility. The devotee public, overwhelmed by noise and misinformation, turns away, unable or unwilling to discern truth from fabrication. The subtle ways of obscuring truths, the prominent feature of modern civilization, have fully entered into the IWC.

In this topsy-turvy situation, it is not the wise, the ethical, or the pure-hearted who become leaders, but the charismatic deceivers and architects of defective doctrines. Devotee discussions are not guided by facts/truth, but by the seduction of fallacious institutional narratives. Truth becomes elastic, contorted to serve the presiding false guru regime and personal ambition agendas, cloaked in mis-quotes of scripture, the pretense of holiness, and shadow devotion.

Actual IWC history is modified to fit current policies. Srila Prabhupada’s sacred, perfect books are “revised,” adulterated, and polluted. Samadhis are erected for anti-heroes like XXX Goswami while real heroes are erased. The undeniable becomes debatable and the restricted becomes justifiable. A thickening fog settles over IWC’s collective memory, corroding how ISKCON was created by its Founder-Acharya.

This is not the plot of a dystopian novel, but a creeping reality, unfolding in the quiet erosion of basic philosophic principles, in the discrediting of truth-telling, in the rewriting of past events. It spreads not in the enthusiasm of Krishna consciousness, but with the whispers of apathy, “It’s always been this way,” or, “It doesn’t matter.” But it does matter. The future is a mirror held up to our present choices. And in every issue, the battle for truth must be fought anew by those who refuse to look away, who speak even when it’s unpopular, who think critically even when it’s easier not to. For without truth and facts and the courage to face them, our spiritual progress descends into illusion and deviation, ending in ridiculous false-guru cults.

Previously, the IWC flourished when anchored in facts and spiritual knowledge. Truth serves not just as an abstract ideal, but as a practical and essential cornerstone of Lord Chaitanya’s spiritual movement, and indeed, in all civilizations. In the realm of justice, truth has guided laws and legal systems, acting as the compass by which courts distinguish right from wrong, guilt from innocence. Truth enables accountability, ensuring that power is constrained by ethics and spiritual principles, and that victims are seen, heard, and vindicated.

Beyond the courtroom, where by far the most of devotees live and operate, truth has been the engine of devotional progress. Even scientific discovery, medical advancement, and technological innovation all rest upon the premise that facts matter by way of intelligent observation, tested evidence, and honest inquiry. So, spiritual movements and human history both draw their lessons from truth. Any society that hides from its past, or rewrites it to suit devious purposes is doomed.

But truth is not only the bedrock of social justice and spiritual advancement, but it is what cultivates trust. When people are being told the truth by their leaders and each other, they are willing to cooperate and follow the Supreme Lord’ruth-tellers, once celebrated for their integrity and moral courage, are now increasingly marginalized. Rather than being elevated, their voices are discredited, attacked, or drowned in a flood of noise, lies, misinformation, and misinterpretations born of selfish and materially ulterior agendas. The discomfort their revelations bring is no longer seen as necessary or noble, but as inconvenient, troublesome, or even offensive.

In the place of truth-tellers, charismatic ISKCON exploiters and masters of false arguments step forward, not with truth or facts, but with glib narratives and clever inferences, tailored to perpetuate the unauthorized doctrines which accommodate the IWC foremost cheaters, namely, the pretender gurus. Armed with bluff and word jugglery, they misinterpret Srila Prabhupada’s otherwise clear instructions, cunningly using them to promote themselves. Show-bottle replaces substance. Misinformation spreads, amplified by the mask of bhakti, and echoed by compromised, blinded followers who are also cheating in concert with the cheaters.

Vast quantities of misinformation, lies, and false propaganda has been propagated by ISKCON’s GBCs and “gurus” since Srila Prabhupada physically departed, poisoning the atmosphere, enabling the cheaters and cheated. Child sexual and physical abuse, defective guru doctrines, unaccountability, denials or acceptance of scandals, suppression of the Acharya’s instructions, unauthorized changes to Srila Prabhupada’s sacred books, hijacking the BBT, neglecting the DOM, buggering the book copyrights, denying the evidence of Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 cadmium poisoning, the appointment and successor acharya hoax, a speculative, unauthorized, an unprecedented system of diksha guru vote approvals and of initiations by conditioned souls, centralized legal and managerial controls in ISKCON far beyond what Srila Prabhupada set up or instructed, creating an ecclesiastic tyranny with defective doctrines.

The list goes on, where compounding deviations are based on flawed interpretations hatched from personal ambitions rather than pure unalloyed service to the Lord’s pure devotee. The devotee society no longer hears or trusts its truth-tellers. ISKCON is based on lies and shared delusions rather than truth/facts, so spiritual advancement stalls or reverses and truth is covered, trust fractures, and cooperation collapses. The very fabric of Srila Prabhupada’s Divine Mission, woven from truth, love, trust, accountability, and transparency-- unravels. This erosion ushers in a society where perception trumps reality, where justice and truth are determined by popularity, and where knowledge is devalued in favor of institutional narratives.

But this is not inevitable. History shows that truth endures even in dark times because of those willing to speak it, protect it, and fight for it. The question is whether we, at this critical juncture, 48 years after the disappearance of ISKCON’s Founder-Acharya, are willing to FIGHT FOR TRUTH. Evil prevails when good men remain silent. Silence is complicity. The IWC and original ISKCON can be saved, rectified, restored… because devotees are generally sincere and his teachings remain available. After each night, the Sun rises again. Even if ISKCON is “Its Gone,” any new spiritual society will need to defend the truth, or they also will succumb to the truthlessness of Kali Yuga.

ISKCON GBC: ACTIVE COLLUSION, SILENT CONSENT

For those who have investigated, researched, and exposed the hijacking of Srila Prabhupada’s Divine Mission by rascals and imposters (or by those more sinister) since the 80's, it may be time to once again review whether this line of activity is actually beneficial or detrimental to the Hare Krishna Movement. Those fighting for truth in the history and deviations thereof are very often criticized as actually further worsening the problems that exist, that the “bad publicity” will discourage people from taking advantage of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings, and is a negative to spreading Krishna consciousness.

Or is this advice from some devotees simply a misunderstanding, born out of frustration and a distaste for the bitter poisons that have been introduced into our Vaishnava community by ambitious opportunists and the agents of Kali? Discussion of this topic could be helpful in better realizing what Srila Prabhupada wants us to do, assuming our purpose is to sincerely serve him.

The ISKCON GBC's deceit and hypocrisy is extreme. They want to have it many ways at once. For example, one, they say hair tests are unreliable. Two, they say that these unreliable Srila Prabhupada hair tests were not done correctly. Three, they say that the results from these unreliable and wrongly-done tests are normal and do not show poisoning. Four, that the abnormal poison levels in the hair test results can be explained in various ways other than homicidal poisoning. Five, there was no poisoning, and there is no evidence of it. Neti, neti… rascal denier word jugglers.

MANY persons are implicated in Srila Prabhupada’s now scientifically proven heavy metals poisoning (see: www.justiceforsrilaprabhupadafoundation.org), by willfully associating with the crime. There are three types of involvement in a crime:

(1) Direct Commission, (2) Aiding and Abetting, (3) Accessory After The Fact.

Srila Prabhupada’s criminal poisoning was a conspiracy by a few to hijack the movement and its assets for personal aggrandizement. They wanted to become absolute gurus with worship, position, power, wealth, and many disciples. As time went on after 1977, those who were involved in the crime (or aware of it) were joined by so many others as accessory after the fact. Distribution of the spoils from the takeover of Srila Prabhupada’s institution induced others to support the original poisoners, knowingly or unknowingly, directly or indirectly.

Tamal, as the chief poisoner suspect (demonstrably beyond a reasonable doubt), expertly implicated others in Srila Prabhupada's poisoning by encouraging them to take the acharya’s seat, worship, disciples, and wealth. That is, if they supported the poison-party line without asking any honest or intelligent questions. Thus, the silent and complicit sold their souls for the profits of false guruship.

Generally speaking, anyone who ignores, covers-up, or destroys evidence of a crime becomes, at the least, an accessory after the fact to that crime, even if they didn’t actively participate in it. Further, there is the possibility of conspiracy charges. Clearing up corruption in ISKCON and the GBC is a daunting task. Only by a massive purge of every one of those who have betrayed the Founder-Acharya, by aiding and abetting, as an accessory after the fact, in the crime of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, will ISKCON be relieved of its maha-offenses against the pure devotee.

In Mahabharata, Kashyapa Muni said: "If one knows the truth but does not disclose it upon being questioned, or, if out of anger, fear, or some other motive, one gives a false reply, then he is bound up by 1,000 nooses of Varuna... If someone commits a sinful act in an assembly, then it is the duty of all those who are present to chastise the wrong doer. If they fail to do so, then the perpetrator of the sin receives one-fourth of the reaction, the leader of the assembly has to accept one-half, and all others present suffer one-fourth. A witness is one who has seen, heard of, or otherwise understood a thing, and he should always tell the truth, for in that way his pious merit will never suffer diminution.”

(1) "...one who is mischievous, he is culprit. But one who tolerates mischievous activity, he is also culprit. If you are mischievous, you are criminal. But if you tolerate mischievous activities that is also criminal." (SPConv May 3, 1973)

(2) Harikesh: They are being quiet. They are too afraid to say. SP: That means they are accepting. […] Quiet means... Maunam samyati raksanam. If there is some argument and you remain quiet that means indirectly you accept. (SPConv, July 9, 1975)

Everyone understands the full complicity of direct involvment in a crime. Less understood is that the silent consenter who aids after the fact, and one who benefits from the crime afterwards- they are also complicit. For ex., not only the butcher incurs the sin for animal killing, but also one who transports, eats, cooks, sells, or raises the animal. Similarly, those who:

(1) Silently knew it was occurring but did nothing to stop it,

(2) Afterwards covered for or protected the poisoners,

(3) Accepting benefits that came as a result of the poisoning (sharing the stolen goods).

Even today, they are also all complicit, guilty of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning.

The original poisoners implicated many others by sharing the assets of Srila Prabhupada’s mission. By active collusion or silent consent- both make one complicit. (1) Aiding and abetting, (2) silent partner, (3) complicit after the fact- these phrases relate to those who knew or came to know of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, or even those who unknowingly benefited from it. There are many ISKCON leaders who knew, came to know, or suspect the truth of this crime but unconscionably have deceptively remained silent, just to protect their positions and benefits.

Otherwise, why have they refused an honest, impartial, open investigation and adamantly, unreasonably denied 100% of the evidence, demonizing those who want the truth? Srila Prabhupada explains how silence and association is collusion:

(1) “Because we are doing business, we are getting money from these rascal government, so if you expose me, then I will not get money, and if I expose you, you will not get money. Let us remain together and let them remain fools. That's all. This is it. If a common man like me can understand the whole policy, how the scientist will not understand? But they have made a compromise that ‘Don't expose me, I'll not expose you, and let us take money from the government.’ This is going on.” (SPConv 18.5.75)

(2) “A person who knows things as they are and still does not bear witness becomes involved in sinful activities." (CC Mad 5.90)

(3) “Regarding the position of a person who does not speak even when he knows the truth: jani saksi nahi deya tara papa haya. 'A person who knows things as they are and still does not bear witness becomes involved in sinful activities'.” (SPConv May 17, 1975)

(4) “Brahmanas [...] are generally unaware of the happenings within the material world because they are always busy in their activities for spiritual advancement. Nonetheless, when there is a calamity in human society, they cannot remain impartial. If they do not do something to relieve the distressed condition of human society, it is said that due to such neglect their spiritual knowledge diminishes.” (SBhag 4.14.41 Purport)

(5) "In the name of bhakti in many places people are engaged in illicit or anti-bhakti activities in the name of practicing bhakti. If one does not expose those issues (cases) very clearly, then pure bhakti will never be victorious or be established." (Bhaktivinode Thakur, Sajjana Tosani)

(6) Jagadish: If you know that someone is committing criminal activities, then if you associate with them, you’ll also become implicated. SP: Yes. Sangat sanjayate kamah. (SPConv Jan. 11, 1977)

Silence is complicity. Sins of omission are as telling and culpable as sins of commission.

It is our duty as messengers of the Absolute Truth to always stand for truth and resist corruption, starting with our own spiritual family and society. Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning must be exposed. That entails the removal of the entire current GBC-guru regime, those who have aided and abetted, covered-up the crime, profited from the crime, and denied the crime. They fear “political regime uncertainty” that is caused by the poison evidence. This truth will be their end.

Those who have received benefits from Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning in post-1977 ISKCON (a very many persons) should meditate carefully on their situation, take measures to disengage, and not become further implicated in this great crime. Do the right thing. Why should ISKCON devotees, whose intelligence can easily appreciate the overwhelming mountain of evidence clearly proving Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, go along with, acquiesce, or remain silent? While their leaders perpetrate deceit and lies in ever-more sketchy cover-ups of that evidence?

Srila Prabhupada explains the important example of the Kurus like Bhishma.

(1) “…It was an open secret that Duryodhana wanted to usurp the kingdom of the Pandavas by evil plans, in collaboration with his father, Dhritarastra. Therefore, all persons who had joined the side of Duryodhana must have been birds of the same feather…” (BGita 1.23)

(2) “…According to scriptural codes, a teacher who engages in an abominable action and has lost his sense of discrimination is fit to be abandoned. Bhishma and Drona were obliged to take the side of Duryodhana because of his financial assistance, although they should not have accepted such a position simply on financial considerations. Under the circumstances, they have lost the respectability of teachers.” (BGita 2.5)

COMMENT: Bhishma, though a great devotee, sided with Duryodhana because of financial considerations and having been maintained by him, and thus Lord Krishna wanted him to be killed. Similarly, because they are attached to their maintenance and positions, all the ISKCON misleaders and senior devotees have sided with the primary suspects on the poison issue and will suffer consequences. Although presented with the evidence, they choose to deny even Srila Prabhupada’s own clear statements about being poisoned, just to politically favor the ISKCON ruling elite. They have acted like Bhishma and Drona and will surely pay for this great misdeed. Some have laughed at the idea of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning. Such corrupted, dishonest persons have used fraud, lies, deceit, and denials to cover up the conclusive evidence in this matter.

There are many levels of complicity. For ex., after a bank robbery, someone who knowingly partakes of the loot also becomes complicit. Similarly, in the future many more persons will become complicit in the poisoning of Srila Prabhupada, so great is the contamination of this offense. Thus, increasing numbers are implicated, though they did not administer the poison.

(1) Those who knew about Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning while it happened and remained silent: they are also guilty of the crime.

(2) Those who learned about the poisoning of Srila Prabhupada after the fact and remained silent: they are also guilty of the crime.

(3) Those who abetted the poisoning of Srila Prabhupada (to approve, encourage, support, or its cover-up during or after) are implicated and they are also guilty of the crime.

(4) Those who share in the material benefits (at any time after the poisoning, even today or centuries from now) that resulted from Srila Prabhupada’s removal by poisoning, are also implicated and they are also guilty of the crime. Of course, there are differing degrees of complicity. Even if only a handful of persons had physically poisoned Srila Prabhupada, still, all those who took advantage of the results by assuming Srila Prabhupada’s position and exploiting his assets for their own purposes, are also implicated as guilty in the crime. Therefore, all the zonal acharyas and GBCs in 1978, plus all the ISKCON gurus and GBCs from 1978 until the present, are implicated in Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning by aiding and abetting, even without administering the poison themselves. They are benefiting and taking advantage of the poisoning of the Acharya. They are complicit after the fact and guilty of collusion with the crime.

(5) Those who suspect or know about Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning but have denied it, are as guilty as the actual poisoners themselves. They have aided and abetted the crime.

(6) Those who come to understand the evidence and truth that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned, but do not demand accountability, they are also complicit.

(7) Those that know nothing of the poisoning, but have heard of it and did nothing to verify the truth in it, or those cooperating with those who have benefited from it, they are also complicit. Pleas that they are trying to help spread the movement for Srila Prabhupada, and thus do not have time or interest in Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning issue, will not excuse them from some complicity.

ISKCON leaders have lied to us about Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, and they lied to us about a whole lot of other things as well, some of which we already know about. Interestingly, they all refuse to reveal their personal finances or assets.

CONCLUSION

Once momentum grows with an enlightened tier of institutional leaders who see the truth of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, other leaders will capitulate by “coming clean” and make excuses for their complicity. That day cannot come soon enough. Those who make public apologies may be forgiven, but they can never be trusted again.

The GBC created false narratives about diabetes, poisoning from medicines, covered up the evidence with sham “investigations,” never questioned the suspects, suppressed and forbade legitimate efforts to properly investigate, endorsed the 1978 guru-jacking, and has harbored the poisoners. The entire GBC body is complicit in this horrific crime.

And they have hair samples and teeth from Srila Prabhupada which would settle the poisoning issue once and for all, but they have hidden this evidence and refuse to allow tests on them. An honest GBC would have long ago arranged for these tests to be done by law enforcement or neutral forensic testing laboratories, to affirm the truth one way or the other. Their course of action is classic obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence, false testimony, and constitutes clear complicity in the crime of the millennium. Throw them all out!

In two recent podcasts, Sriman Abhirama Prabhu explored the emotionally charged and spiritually significant subject of Srila Prabhupada’s final days. In summary, his key assertions were as follows:

He served as Srila Prabhupada’s personal nurse for a period of six months in 1977. • Based on his close proximity, he is convinced that no malicious poisoning occurred. • He emphasized that those around Srila Prabhupada held deep affection for him, and none would have caused him harm. • He categorically rejected the poisoning allegations as unfounded and emotionally distressing. • He expressed a heartfelt desire to reunite with Srila Prabhupada in the future.

While we recognize and respect his devotional sentiments, it is equally important to highlight WHAT WAS LEFT UNSAID.

Given the gravity of the allegations concerning Srila Prabhupada’s suspected poisoning—and especially from someone so intimately involved—one would reasonably expect a comprehensive acknowledgment of the relevant evidence, historical records, and testimony.

A thorough and credible narrative must extend beyond personal impressions. It must also encompass Srila Prabhupada’s own recorded words, the medical chronology, forensic analyses, and the wide array of testimonies from other caretakers. The omission of these critical components leaves a conspicuous void and undermines the strength of any conclusions presented.

Key Points That Were Not Addressed:

Tamal Krishna Goswami’s remark, “now you have to choose which suicide,” was met by Srila Prabhupada with an analogy involving Ram, Sita, and Marici—a profound and telling exchange that merits thorough discussion. The audio recording reveals Tamal's words were delivered calmly, with a subtle tone of sarcasm. Many believe this moment reveals Srila Prabhupada’s internal assessment of Tamal as ISKCON’s Ravan.
The widely discussed comment concerning “poison in the milk,” attributed to Tamal Krishna Goswami, which has become a focal point in the poisoning discourse.
The most pivotal omission: Srila Prabhupada explicitly declared on three occasions, “Someone has poisoned me.”
The forensic analysis conducted on Srila Prabhupada’s preserved hair samples.

An independent forensic report issued by Truth Labs—referenced in our communication dated September 16, 2024—detected toxic cadmium levels in hair samples collected in 1977 and analyzed between 1999 and 2005. These tests, commissioned by the GBC, revealed average cadmium concentrations of 16 ppm—dramatically exceeding safety thresholds and deemed medically fatal. This evidence is not speculative; it is scientifically robust and independently verifiable.

THE FALSE NARRATIVE: TIME SERVED VS REALITY

It is important to clarify that Abhirama Prabhu’s period of service did not encompass the entirety of the suspected poisoning timeline. His engagement spanned approximately 83 days, whereas the poisoning is proven to have started in Feb 1977 and lasted for sure for 9 months, and possibly as long as 18 months, starting in May or July 1976.

As shared by Vyapak Das: “Some years ago, while in Vrindavan, I heard Abhirama’s personal recollections. He openly admitted to lacking formal nursing credentials and acknowledged that his appointment was facilitated by his friendship with Tamal. Therefore, he was not equipped to identify clinical signs of poisoning.”

I HAVE LITTLE DIABETES

Srila Prabhupada’s 1977 medical record presents several inconsistencies. While various ailments were treated—including gastrointestinal distress, renal and hepatic complications, malnutrition, respiratory issues, and conjunctivitis—there was no formal diagnosis or treatment of diabetes. The sole reference appears in February 1977 when Srila Prabhupada stated, “I have a little diabetes.”

Dr. Khurana (Naveen Krishna’s father, based in Delhi) proposed dialysis, but this was reportedly declined by Tamal Krishna Goswami. Testimonies, including those of Hari Sauri Prabhu, confirm that no clinical diagnosis or therapeutic response to diabetes was ever undertaken. Nor is there any documentation of the matter being raised by Abhirama Prabhu or his wife.

It is also notable that Abhirama Prabhu departed from Srila Prabhupada’s personal service on October 16, 1977—nearly a month before the latter’s passing. He was therefore absent during the crucial events of November 9–10, when Srila Prabhupada unambiguously stated, on three separate occasions, “Someone has poisoned me.” Tamal Krishna even inquired, “So… who is it that has poisoned?” Despite this, no investigation or precautionary action was taken. These conversations are publicly archived and accessible to anyone sincerely seeking the truth.

Even if diabetes were to have been a factor, it would not preclude the possibility of poisoning. On the contrary, cadmium poisoning is known to simulate or aggravate diabetic symptoms. Thus, a diagnosis of diabetes would not refute the forensic findings—it could, in fact, support them.

It is a matter of record that ISKCON leadership held exclusive control over Srila Prabhupada’s food, medicine, and physical access during his final months.

APPEAL FOR HONESTY

This message is not an indictment nor an exercise in blame. It is a sincere call for transparency—the very quality Srila Prabhupada consistently championed. If we profess to revere him, we must commit to honoring the totality of his words—not merely those we find agreeable. That includes his final pleas and the scientific evidence that corroborates them.

Therefore, we respectfully ask: If one earnestly desires to reunite with Srila Prabhupada, should they not first reconcile with what he explicitly stated before departing? Should we not examine the compelling evidence that now lends credence to those statements?

This is not a matter of speculation. It is a matter of documented reality—painful, factual, and unresolved. If we are to speak on this topic, let us speak with completeness, not convenience.

Prabhupada: A pious man lives long. Impious man dies very soon. Even one who is pure devotee, he can prolong his duration of life more than what is destined for him. Everyone has got a destination that "This person will live for so many years, this person will live for so many years." But a pure devotee, as a yogi can increase the duration of his life, similarly, a pure devotee, although he does not artificially try to increase the duration of life, by God's grace his duration of life is increased. A pure devotee is no longer within the rules and regulation of material nature.

Respected Members of the Board,

We write to formally inform you that pursuant to your instructions and under the authority vested in us by you, we have filed a detailed and comprehensive complaint dated 19-07-2025 regarding the serious instances of child abuse and systemic violations of child rights within ISKCON-run Gurukuls, Ashrams, Temples, and affiliated institutions in India.

The complaint has been submitted on behalf of the Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation to the competent authorities including law enforcement agencies

The complaint spans over 850 pages along with multiple annexures, comprising:

Child Protection Office (CPO) reports of ISKCON;

Survivor statements;

Statements of Child Rights Activists;

Psychological expert assessments;

Documentary evidence corroborating sexual, physical, and psychological abuse within ISKCON premises;

Documentary proof of systemic cover-up by ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission (GBC) and senior leaders;

Specific violations of POCSO Act, Juvenile Justice Act, IPC, and applicable child protection statutes.

We have sought criminal prosecution of the offenders, dismantling of the institutional cover-up machinery, audit of the institutions of the ISKCON and a rehabilitative framework for victims funded by ISKCON amongst other reliefs.

We remain committed to pursuing this matter in accordance with the law and are prepared to initiate further legal proceedings, should the authorities fail to take timely and effective action.

We will keep you regularly informed of all subsequent developments and responses from the concerned authorities as soon as received.

Tolerance And Mercy Of True Saints And Messiahs

titikṣavaḥ kāruṇikāḥ

suhṛdaḥ sarva-bhūtānām

ajāta-śatravaḥ śāntāḥ

sādhavaḥ sādhu-bhūṣaṇāḥ

[SB 3.25.21]

This is the qualification of sādhu. Sādhu is titikṣava, tolerates all kinds of miserable conditions. He is sādhu. Because this is a place of miserable condition. A sādhu learns how to tolerate. Sādhu is never disturbed. Yasmin sthito guruṇāpi duḥkhena na vicālyate [Bg. 6.20-23]. A sādhu, who has got the shelter of Kṛṣṇa, if he is placed in the severest type of dangerous condition, he is never disturbed. Just like Prahlāda Mahārāja, his father was putting him in so many dangerous conditions, even he was supplying with poison. He knew that "My father has given me poison to drink. All right, let me drink. If Kṛṣṇa likes, He will save me. I am now put into such dangerous position. I have to drink. Father is giving poison. Who can check?" And such a big powerful Hiraṇyakaśipu. The mother cried, requested... He forced the mother, Prahlāda's mother, "Give your son this poison." So she begged so much, but he was a rascal demon. "No, you must give." So the mother knew, the son knew that the rascal father is giving this poison. What can he do, a small child? "All right, let me drink." Guruṇāpi duḥkhena na vicālyate. He is not agitating. "All right, if Kṛṣṇa likes, I will live." This is the position of sādhu. He is not disturbed. Titikṣavaḥ. In all circumstances, he is tolerant. That is sādhu. Sādhu does not become disturbed. Titikṣavaḥ. At the same time, kāruṇikāḥ. He is himself disturbed, but he is merciful to others.

Just like Jesus Christ. He is being crucified, and still he is merciful: "God, these people do not know what they are doing. Please excuse them." This is sādhu. He is personally being disturbed by the demons, but still, he is merciful to the general people. They are suffering for want of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. So even up to the point of death, he is trying to preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness. "Let the people be benefited. Eh, what is this material body? Even if I am killed, I am not killed. This body is killed, that's all." This is sādhu. Titikṣavaḥ kāruṇikāḥ. In one side he is tolerant, and other side, merciful.

In the material world, when one man is disturbed, he cannot do any beneficial work to any others. He is disturbed. "No, I am very much disturbed. Don't talk with me." No. But sādhu still goes on benefiting the people in general. Titikṣavaḥ kāruṇikāḥ [SB 3.25.21]. And what kind of benefit? The so-called rascals humanitarian work? No. Suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānām [Bg. 5.29]. He is beneficial to all kinds of living entities.

Please always try to remember me by my teachings and we shall always be together. Just like I have written in the first publications of Srimad-Bhagavatam, "The spiritual Master lives forever by His divine instruction and the disciple lives with him.'', because I have always served my Guru Maharaja and followed His teachings I am now even never separated from Him. Sometimes Maya may come and try to interfere but we must not falter, we must always follow the chalked-out path laid down by the great acharya's and in the end you will see.

So, he wanted this, and he is not... It is not that he is dead and gone. That is not spiritual understanding. Even ordinary living being, he does not die. Na hanyate hanyamāne śarīre [Bg. 2.20]. And what to speak of such exalted, authorized personality like Bhaktisiddhānta. He is seeing. I never feel that I am alone.

I shall live from my books, and you will utilize.

Reporter (2): What will happen to the movement in the United States when you die?

Prabhupada: I WILL NEVER DIE.

Devotees: Jaya! Hari bol! (laughter)

Srila Prabhupada: Well, the questions are answ... answers are there in my books. So, utilize whatever time you find to make a thorough study of my books. Then all your questions will be answered. Every one of you must regularly read our books at least twice, in the morning and evening, and automatically all questions will be answered.

One has to associate with liberated persons not directly, physically, but by understanding, through philosophy and logic, the problems of life.

It is sometimes misunderstood that if one has to associate with persons engaged in devotional service, he will not be able to solve the economic problem. To answer this argument, it is described here that one has to associate with liberated persons not directly, physically, but by understanding, through philosophy and logic, the problems of life. It is stated here, samyag-darśanayā buddhyā: one has to see perfectly, and by intelligence and yogic practice one has to renounce this world. That renunciation can be achieved by the process recommended in the Second Chapter of the First Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.

Indian lady: Can the death of a spiritual master take to us, or I can get... Is that spiritual master still guiding after the death? (?)

Prabhupāda: Yes, yes. Just like Kṛṣṇa is guiding us, similarly, spiritual master will guide. We are being guided by Kṛṣṇa, by the Bhagavad-gītā. Although Kṛṣṇa is not physically present, so-called... Kṛṣṇa is present always. But even if we say that Kṛṣṇa is not physically present as He was present before Arjuna, still, His book, Bhagavad-gītā, is there. And that Bhagavad-gītā is nondifferent from Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa's teaching, the same, absolute. That is Absolute Truth. Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa's... Here form, the same. It is not that we are making show of offering Kṛṣṇa some food. No, we are offering directly to Kṛṣṇa and He's eating. Kṛṣṇa being absolute, He can perform through anything provided we are sincere and serious.

If I depart there is no cause for lamentation. I will always be with you through my books and orders. I will always remain with you in that way. (BTG 13:1-2, December 1977) (Living Still in Sound)

Srila Prabhupada: "So although a physical body is not present, the vibration should be accepted as the presence of the Spiritual Master, vibration. What we have heard from the Spiritual Master, that is living." Srimad-Bhagavatam Lecture, Los Angeles, California, USA January 13, 1969.

"I shall remain your personal guidance, physically present or not physically, as I am getting personal guidance from my guru maharaja" Srila Prabhupada Letter. July 14, 1977.

However, the disciple and spiritual master are never separated because the spiritual master always keeps company with the disciple as long as the disciple follows strictly the instructions of the spiritual master. This is called the association of vani (words). physical presence is called vapuh. As long as the spiritual master I physically present, the disciple should serve the physical body of the spiritual master, and when the spiritual master is no longer physically existing, the disciple should serve the instructions of the spiritual master. SB 4.28.4.

Guest (2): ...to choose a successor.

Srila Prabhupada: It is already successful. Genuine thing is always success. Gold is gold. If somebody is fortunate, he can purchase gold, but gold remains gold. If somebody purchases and somebody does not, it doesn't matter. Gold is gold. So future, gold future is always the same as it is at present--if it is gold. If it is something glittering, that is another thing.

Guest (4): But there must be somebody, you know, needed to handle the thing.

Srila Prabhupada: Yes, that we are creating. We are creating these devotees who will handle.

Hanuman: One thing he's saying, this gentleman, and I would like to know, is your successor named or your successor will...

Srila Prabhupada: My success is always there. Yes. Just like the sun is there always. It may come before your vision or not. The sun is there. But if you are fortunate, you come before the sun. Otherwise, you remain in darkness. Sun is open to everyone. Our Krsna consciousness movement--Krsna is open to everyone. But if you are fortunate, you come to the light. Although according to material vision His Divine Grace Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda passed away from this material world on the last day of December, 1936, I still consider His Divine Grace to be always present with me by his vāṇī, his words. There are two ways of association-by vāṇī and by vapu. Vāṇī means words, and vapu means physical presence. Physical presence is sometimes appreciable and sometimes not, but vāṇī continues to exist eternally. Therefore, we must take advantage of the vāṇī, not the physical presence. Bhagavad-gītā, for example, is the vāṇī of Lord Kṛṣṇa.. Although Kṛṣṇa was personally present five thousand years ago and is no longer physically present from the materialistic point of view, Bhagavad-gītā continues.

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letter as I was leaving the temple to come here to Bombay. You have rightly said that the best way to associate with the spiritual master is to follow his instructions. There are two ways of associating, by vani and by vapu. Vani means words and vapu means physical presence. Physical presence is sometimes appreciable and sometimes not. Therefore we should take advantage of the vani, not the physical presence, because the vani continues to exist eternally. Bhagavad-gita for example is the vani of Lord Krishna. Although Krishna was personally present 5,000 years ago and is no longer present physically from the materialistic viewpoint, still Bhagavad-gita continues. So, you have correctly concluded.

I shall remain your personal guidance, physically present or not physically, as I am getting personal guidance from my Guru Mahārāja.

This next one is also from Gargamuni. It includes a letter, Śrīla Prabhupāda. "My dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, please accept my humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. We fervently pray that Your Divine Grace continue to remain in this world because we need your personal guidance. Even when Lord Kṛṣṇa disappeared, Arjuna lost all strength temporarily."

Srila Prabhupāda: I shall remain your personal guidance, physically present or not physically, as I am getting personal guidance from my Guru Mahārāja.

I understand that you are feeling my absence. Krishna will give you strength. Physical presence is immaterial; presence of the transcendental sound received from the spiritual master should be the guidance of life. That will make our spiritual life successful. If you feel very strongly about my absence you may place my pictures on my sitting places, and this will be source of inspiration for you.

Kṛṣṇa descends means sometimes He personally descends, sometimes He descends by His incarnation, sometimes He descends as a sound vibration, sometimes He descends as devotee.

So in other word, when there is discrepancy in the matter of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, at that time Kṛṣṇa comes. Kṛṣṇa descends. Kṛṣṇa descends.

Kṛṣṇa descends means sometimes He personally descends, sometimes He descends by His incarnation, sometimes He descends as a sound vibration, sometimes He descends as devotee. There are many different categories of His descendance. And at the present moment this Kṛṣṇa has descended in His holy name. You should understand that. Kṛṣṇa kali-kāle nāma-rūpe kṛṣṇa-avatāra. This is the statement of Lord Caitanya, that in this age of Kali, Kṛṣṇa has descended in the sound vibration form. Sound is also one of the form. Just like oṁkāra is the form of Kṛṣṇa. A Legacy of Deception, Fraud, and Betrayal

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has been haunted by child abuse scandals within its schools (gurukulas) and temples for decades. While the suffering of its most vulnerable members has been undeniable, the leaderships' response has been marked by negligence, deception, and outright fraud.

If you visited a friend’s house and saw the same kitchen tap leaking for three years, you'd rightly assume that fixing it isn’t a priority. The same logic applies here: ISKCON's failure to invest the resources required to protect the children reveals a chilling truth—protecting children has never been a priority for the leadership.

In the late 1990s, the $400 million Turley case lawsuit rocked ISKCON and threatened its very existence. Only then did the Governing Body Commission (GBC)—ISKCON's highest managerial authority—begin to publicly acknowledge the scope of the abuse.

But this was not an act of conscience. It was survival instinct.

The leadership created two entities:

Children of Krishna: A non-profit offering small grants to alumni survivors.
Child Protection Office (CPO): An internal body to process allegations of abuse.

These moves were framed as progress, but in reality, they were calculated efforts to ensure the survival of the institution and preserve its image. The CPO, despite its purported mission, often functioned as a public relations shield—a tool of damage control, rather than actually protecting children.

Institutional Interests Over Innocent Lives

The GBC has poured more time, money, and manpower into purging theological dissent—such as the Ritvik issue—than into rooting out child abusers. When it comes to the Ritvik issue, across the globe, every ISKCON temple enforces ideological conformity. But child safety? That remain inconsistent, underfunded, and politically fraught.

This glaring double standard reveals a disturbing truth: ISKCON leadership views theological nonconformity as more dangerous than the sexual abuse of children.

The Myth of Independence

Although ISKCON leaders insist that the CPO is independent, the GBC controls key appointments and ousts directors who prioritize justice over politics. In high-profile cases, senior leaders have intervened to shield friends—abusers—rather than support victims. This pattern of deception and manipulation exposes the CPO as a toothless, symbolic structure—meant more to appear just than to deliver justice.

In 2025, the GBC pushed out Kamlesh Krsna das—a trained child protection expert with a Master’s degree in Advanced Child Protection—and replaced him with lawyers lacking comparable child safety credentials and experience. The restructuring team included no child protection specialists and failed to consult long-serving staff.

These are not the actions of a sincere organization, but of one engaged in a long-running fraud.

The Case of Lokanath Swami: Power Protects Perpetrators

The most egregious example of ISKCON’s moral collapse is the case of Lokanath Swami. ISKCON News officially confirmed that he sexually abused an 11-year-old girl.

Yet instead of being removed, he was upheld as a Sannyasi and spiritual leader, a guru in a position of absolute authority over his disciples—with the endorsement of the GBC.

This sent a chilling message: In ISKCON, power protects predators. If you hold enough influence, you can get away with anything—even the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old girl.

This isn’t just moral failure. It’s systemic fraud masquerading as spiritual leadership.

The Root of the Problem: Absolute Power Without Accountability

The adage remains painfully relevant: Absolute power corrupts absolutely. ISKCON leadership operates with no meaningful checks, and the victims are left to suffer in silence while perpetrators are often protected, praised, or quietly reinstated.

GBC’s and the CPO's Key Failures Regarding Child Protection

False Independence

The GBC claims the CPO is autonomous, yet handpicks and removes its directors.
Political favoritism protects influential offenders.

Failure to Report Crimes

Abuse is rarely reported to secular authorities.
Offenders escape legal scrutiny and in some instances have continued to offend.

Reinstating Abusers

Known abusers have returned to leadership positions under the guise of “repentance.”
Example: the case of Lokanath Swami and the censure of Bir Krishna Maharaj over the mishandling of child protection matters raise serious concerns about justice and credibility of the GBC body. The censure of Bir Krishna Maharaj was disproportionately mild compared to the devastation his cover-up caused to the lives of the victims.

Punishing Whistle-blowers

Victims and advocates face retaliation, isolation, and character assassination.
ISKCON’s rigid hierarchy leaves them defenseless.

Spiritual Gaslighting

Survivors are told to "forgive and move on"—weaponizing scripture to silence their pain.
This tactic deepens trauma while masking institutional failure.

A History of Cover-Ups

From the gurukula scandals to recent abuses, ISKCON’s response has been consistent: deny, delay, minimize and deceive.
High-profile offenders often enjoy leniency; whereas victims are left to suffer in silence.

Inconsistent Rulings

The CPO’s disciplinary measures have at times been inconsistent with some cases leading to lifetime bans while others resulting in mere warnings—mainly due to the interference of GBC.

The Path Forward: Ending the Cycle of Fraud and Abuse

True reform means dismantling the culture of deception and instituting genuine accountability:

True Independence: The CPO must be completely separated from ISKCON’s power structures.
Transparency: All cases and rulings should be made public (while protecting victim identities) to ensure accountability.
Zero Tolerance: There shall be zero tolerance against offenders/perpetrators and immediate action shall be taken against them. No perpetrator should hold any leadership position—regardless of their status.
Mandatory Legal Reporting: ISKCON members and leaders need to introduce and normalize the culture of reporting every abuse allegation to secular authorities without exception.
Support for Survivors: Trauma counseling, financial aid, and community protection must be guaranteed.
Whistle-blower Protections: Advocates and survivors should be protected, not punished.
Root Out Corruption: ISKCON must acknowledge and dismantle the internal culture that has enabled this decades-long fraud.

Conclusion: Time to Choose Integrity Over Image

ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission has betrayed the children entrusted to its care and failed to be the guiding moral conscience of the Society. Its track record is one not merely of neglect, but of deliberate cover-up, fraud and deception—protecting abusers while spinning the narrative of reform.

Without radical transparency, real independence, and moral courage, ISKCON and the CPO will continue to fail its most vulnerable members. The time for cosmetic changes is over.

It is up to survivors, reformers, and sincere devotees to demand more than apologies and hollow promises. Only with truth, justice, and accountability can ISKCON hope to reclaim any spiritual credibility—and finally become the safe, sacred space it was meant to be.

On April 25, 2025, Mr. Anuttama Das, Minister, ISKCON Communications, issued a public statement on unfounded poison allegations regarding Srila Prabhupada. The document, issued in response to renewed investigations by the Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation, claims that these concerns have been thoroughly debunked and are based on unreliable evidence.

As an organization committed to Srila Prabhupada’s mission, we believe this response is not only inadequate—it is an affront to the transparency, truthfulness, and fearlessness that Prabhupada himself demanded of us.

Distorting the Record

The Communications Ministry claims that the allegations rely on two primary pieces of evidence: old audio recordings and hair samples. In doing so, it reduces a complex and troubling history into a caricature, ignoring the broader body of concerns that have been raised over decades.

Among the most significant pieces of evidence is Srila Prabhupada’s own voice. In the final weeks of his life, he made multiple references to the idea that someone may have poisoned him. He said:

“Someone says that I have been poisoned.”

“Somebody was saying that Someone has given Poison.”

“The same thing, that someone has poisoned me.”

These are not casual remarks. Nor are they vague metaphors. These are the concerned utterances of a spiritual master whose voice we were trained to never ignore.

Dismissing such statements, especially when recorded on tape and corroborated by others present, as misinterpretations is not only disrespectful but irresponsible. The suggestion that these recordings are unreliable because of “discredited audio technology” is an unsupported assertion, especially when professional forensic analysts have identified whispers such as “SO THE POISON’S GOING DOWN” and “IS THE POISON IN THE MILK?”

If such statements were found in any other death investigation, they would be cause for immediate investigation, not sweeping dismissal. Rather than engage with the totality of these statements, ISKCON’s official line isolates a single instance where Srila Prabhupada said, “Not that I am poisoned,” and uses it out of context and as conclusive proof against any suspicion.

Selective interpretation of such serious words is not an act of devotion—it is an act of deflection. The Hair Samples: Dismissed, But Never Disproved

The article goes to great lengths to discredit the use of hair samples in toxicology, calling the methodology unreliable and legally inadmissible. Yet, hair testing remains a recognized and widely used forensic tool in the Court of Law—especially in retrospective cases like this, where tissue and blood samples are unavailable.

More importantly, the tests conducted on Srila Prabhupada’s hair showed cadmium levels 250 times above normal, levels that toxicologists have stated are consistent with poisoning. To suggest this is due to “environmental contamination” without any proof, and to provide no plausible source for such high concentrations, is to offer speculation in place of analysis.

Unqualified Voices and Suppressed Truths: Exposing the GBC's Obstruction in the Prabhupada Case

The statement issued by Dr. Andrew McIrvine of Watford General Hospital, claiming that His Divine Grace was suffering from irreversible renal failure and advanced diabetes, is neither conclusive nor does it eliminate the possibility that heavy metal poisoning—specifically cadmium toxicity—may have been the underlying cause. It is well-documented in medical literature that chronic exposure to cadmium can lead to severe renal impairment, manifesting as proteinuria, polyuria, and a progressive decline in glomerular filtration rate due to its accumulation in the renal cortex.

Moreover, the GBC’s reliance on the book Deception (2020) by Mayesvara Dasa as a credible source is wholly misguided and, frankly, absurd. Mayesvara Dasa possesses no qualifications as a forensic expert, crime investigator, legal professional, or prosecutor. His commentary lacks both scientific and legal foundation, and his involvement represents yet another attempt by the GBC to mislead devotees and suppress a thorough and impartial investigation into the alleged poisoning of Srila Prabhupada.

Selective Witnesses and Biased Investigations

The Ministry points to statements by Srila Prabhupada’s caregivers, saying none of them find the poisoning theory “remotely plausible.” But this group includes those who controlled his access to food, medicine, and people during his most vulnerable moments. To take their word as gospel without cross examination/independent verification is to allow those under suspicion to act as an investigator, judge, and jury in their own case.

Internal Investigations Are Not Independent Investigations

The GBC-commissioned inquiries in 1997 and 2001 are held up as definitive. Yet these were in-house reviews, with limited access, no third-party oversight, and pre-established goals to shut down the controversy.

True accountability requires an independent panel of legal, medical, and forensic experts, not preselected insiders looking to protect institutional reputation.

Why Is ISKCON Afraid of Outside/Independent Inquiry?

Rather than supporting the Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation’s engagement with Truth Labs (a well-respected forensic institute in Hyderabad, India), ISKCON attempts to undermine it by pointing out that full findings have not yet been released.

But ISKCON has never fully released its own investigation results, audio materials, or transcripts. Demanding transparency from others while refusing to reciprocate is a hypocritical stance that weakens the institution’s moral authority. If the GBC truly seeks truth, they should not obstruct third-party investigations—they should welcome them. Why fear external scrutiny, if there is truly nothing to hide?

Srila Prabhupada Deserves Better: The Moral and Spiritual Cost of Silence

This issue is not about division or scandal—it is about truth. If there is even a possibility that Srila Prabhupada was deliberately harmed, it is the duty of every sincere devotee to demand answers.

To ignore his own words, the scientific data, and the appeals for independent review is not “unity”—it is betrayal disguised as loyalty.

We are not here to accuse blindly. We are here to ask, with reason and reverence, that ISKCON stop treating legitimate questions as attacks, and instead facilitate a transparent, independent investigation. .

In the name of Srila Prabhupada, and for the health of the spiritual movement he gave his life to build, we demand clarity, not cover-up.

Let history remember that we asked the hard questions—not to divide ISKCON, but to purify it. A Call to the Global Vaishnava Community

This is a pivotal moment for ISKCON. We can choose institutional self-preservation over truth—or we can rise to the standard Srila Prabhupada set for us:

“Religion without philosophy is sentiment… or superstition.”

Likewise, devotion without accountability becomes blind, and loyalty without truth becomes complicity.

We are not here to cause division—we are here to purify the movement. To honor our spiritual master, we must fearlessly demand truth, transparency, and an independent investigation.

Because Srila Prabhupada deserves nothing less.

The leadership of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has consistently asserted that allegations of Srila Prabhupada being poisoned lack credible evidence. Representatives such as Mayesvara and other spokespersons for the Governing Body Commission (GBC) have emphasized the absence of publicly available evidence indicating that Srila Prabhupada’s caretakers possessed cadmium or any cadmium-containing substances during the period leading up to his passing in 1977. Critics argue that the lack of direct evidence, such as proof of possession of cadmium by the caretakers, undermines the poisoning allegations.

However, this perspective does not align with established legal principles. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, in one of the landmark cases on murder by poisoning discussed the criminal jurisprudence and held:

" We do not consider that there should be acquittal on the failure of the prosecution to prove the possession of poison with the accused. Murder by poison is invariably committed under the cover and cloak of secrecy. Nobody will administer poison to another in the presence of others. The person who administers poison to another in secrecy will not keep a portion of it for the investigating officer to come and collect it. The person who commits such murder would naturally take care to eliminate and destroy the evidence against him. In such cases, it would be impossible for the prosecution to prove possession of poison with the accused. The prosecution may, however, establish other circumstances consistent only with the hypothesis of the guilt of the accused. The court then would not be justified in acquitting the accused on the ground that the prosecution has failed to prove possession of the poison with the accused."

Forensic science findings (anumana): Supportive evidence, that supports and reinforces Srila Prabhupada’s words and conclusions

The primary evidence that Srila Prabhupada was administered poison with homicidal intent, is Srila Prabhupada’s words. In terms of Vedic epistemology, that is called sabda-pramana, infallible vibration from pure, perfect, transcendental source and authority. Because Srila Prabhupada’s statements constitute the chief source of evidence, our main emphasis is to encourage everyone to directly hear from Srila Prabhupada about his departure pastime.

For example, listen carefully to Srila Prabhupada statements to Balaram Mishra and Kaviraj, starting at 1:15, and, starting at 8:10, Srila Prabhupada saying that he’s experiencing mental distress, because someone is poisoning him (“that someone has poisoned me”).

Also, from 15:55 through 17:10 we get to hear Srila Prabhupada’s metaphor, “The Ravana will kill and Rama will kill. Better to be killed by Rama. Eh? That Marica- if he does not go to mislead Sita, he’ll be killed by Ravana; and if he goes to be killed by Rama, then it is better.” Srila Prabhupada seems clearly to be indicating that to stay with his caregivers is tantamount to being with metaphorical Ravana.

So, Srila Prabhupada’s vani, his words, are the primary, most vital and important evidence, that he was given poison with murderous intent.

Pratyaksa (direct sense perception) and anumana (inferential methods, akin to modern, empirical, material science approaches) methods for acquiring knowledge are subject to the defects inherent in material senses, mind and intellect. These shortcomings include, limitations, and the tendencies to commit mistakes, be illusioned, and cheat, or mislead. Thus, such epistemologies are certainly not perfect. That said, they can have some valid place in endeavors to understand and gain realization.

Anumana, methods of material, empirical science, may support the evidence derived from sabda-pramana, though such methods never supplant, supersede or override sabda-pramana. With regard to attempts to understand Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance pastime, we may note with interest that the forensic science does strongly support and fortify Srila Prabhupada’s sabda-pramana.

A number of conclusions have been reached from the forensic tests on Srila Prabhupada's saved hair samples and from the available body of scientific literatures and studies.

1. Average normal cadmium level in human hair is 0.064 ppm. Srila Prabhupada's 15.73 ppm cadmium average in 3 tests is about 250 X normal.

2. Even those who had serious environmental or occupational exposure to cadmium only averaged 0.387 ppm cadmium. Srila Prabhupada had 40 X more than those who were accidently poisoned.

3. Srila Prabhupada had 4 X more cadmium in his hair than in the worst USA cadmium-polluted waste dump.

4. Srila Prabhupada's sky-high cadmium levels are lethal over a short period of time. Somehow Srila Prabhupada survived these levels for at least 10 months.

5. Cadmium aggravates, causes, and accelerates diabetes and kidney disease, which is what lSKCON’s GBC claims was Srila Prabhupada's natural cause of death, an explanation which ignores the lethal cadmium levels.

6. Srila Prabhupada had at least 12 physical symptoms unique to cadmium poisoning which are NOT found in diabetes or kidney disease, as well as 10 different physical symptoms which are not found in diabetes or kidney disease.

7. Srila Prabhupada's medical history for 1977 totally matches the outcome of a chronic, serious cadmium poisoning, with fatigue, no digestion or taste, physical wasting, anorexia, excessive constant mucus/ colds/ rhinitis/ conjunctivitis/ heavy cough.

8. There were no medical tests, or memories of tests, including at the London hospital where Srila Prabhupada went Sept. 8, 1977, to specify any diabetes or kidney disease that Srila Prabhupada may have had. The ISKCON GBC's claims in this regard are unsubstantiated by any known medical tests. Both his personal servants, Hari Sauri and Sruti Kirti, have stated they never had any indication of either diabetes or kidney disease from 1972 to 1977.

9. The primary poison was cadmium, with arsenic and antimony being secondary.

10. These levels of average 15.73 ppm cadmium in hair could only come about by a deliberate, malicious, homicidal poisoning through food or drink, via cadmium salts which are water soluble, tasteless, colourless, and look like sugar.

11. The arsenic water crisis in Bengal began in the early 1980’s when new deep bore wells were dug. Srila Prabhupada's elevated arsenic thus could not come from water wells that were not yet existing, neither would arsenic tainted water explain the cadmium.

However, the ‘battle’ is far from over as there are those, firmly handcuffed by Institutional priority, who will fight back with full power, influence and money. ISKCON has millions, which they could spend. We unfortunately do not, but we have Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada with us.

Please remember, our mission isn’t the eradication of ISKCON, but the purification of it. Srila Prabhupada’s divine body was poisoned 47 years ago, but the poison did not end with his departure. It still continues today. Where is this poison? It “lives” in the heart of those people who know what happened, but stay silent for their own personal benefit. It shelters itself in the consciousness of those who have chosen to ignore the events leading to Srila Prabhupada’s untimely departure.

Dear Guru Prasada Swami, Tapana Misra Prabhu and Govardhana Prabhu,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Hare Krsna. Thank you for your letter dated November 2nd, 2024, acknowledging receipt of our letter dated September 16th, 2024. “We are ready to meet with you and discuss the subject matter of the letter.” We are glad to hear this.

We were hoping that close study of that report, in conjunction with the video-audio-text presentation, would move the ISKCON GBC, including the ISKCON GBC Executive Committee, to realize that their official position, “There is no evidence at this time to support the allegations of poisoning of Srila Prabhupada”, is scientifically and rationally untenable.

We are of the view, which is supported and strengthened by the responses received by us from hundreds of sincere followers of Srila Prabhupada, that the above stated evidence is sufficient, even for a layperson, to conclude that there was foul play involved in the departure of Srila Prabhupada in November 1977. The contents of your acknowledgement letter, however, indicate that the GBC Executive Committee is still not ready to accept this fact but is more interested in conducting a post-mortem of the evidence with us through your institute, the Bhaktivedanta Institute for Higher Studies, as if the GBC Executive Committee is the final investigating and adjudicatory body.

The very purpose of sending the letter dated 16th September 2024 to the GBC, along with the pack of evidence, was to invite your attention to these latest credible pieces of evidence and to seek your cooperation in referring this immensely significant issue of the unnatural departure of Srila Prabhupada, to the investigating agencies for an open and fair investigation. In this way, this issue could finally see a logical conclusion and the voice of a large section of practitioners of Krsna consciousness like us who are fighting for Justice for Srila Prabhupada for a fairly long period could be heard and addressed.

We hope that the GBC Executive Committee will appreciate our concerns, that are not governed by any self-interest, and that are intended to serve the founder of the Hare Krishna Movement and ISKCON.

In this regard, we’re willing to arrange a preliminary meeting with all or some members of the GBC Executive Committee to discuss modalities for finding common ground in the interest of Srila Prabhupada, his followers, and devotees. We ask that you reply to this letter within two weeks of the date of the letter.

On November 2nd, 2024, we received a reply from the ISKCON Governing Body Commission Executive Committee (GBC EC). That letter is addressed, “Dear Devotees”, and signed by-

Here is the major portion of the GBC Executive Committee letter:

“The Justice for Srila Prabhupada wrote to the GBC: ‘…We request that you, the GBC Executive Committee, cooperate with the efforts of the Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation towards uncovering and revealing to Srila Prabhupada's followers and the world the facts regarding Srila Prabhupada's disappearance pastime. Please let us know before Nov. 1, 2024, whether you, the members of the GBC Executive Committee, are ready to meet and discuss with our team about the subject of this letter and future course of action related to the contents of this letter.’

“The GBC acknowledge receipt of your letter of September 16, 2024 and pack of material. We are ready to meet with you and discuss the subject matter of the letter. We have requested the Bhaktivedanta Institute for Higher Studies to provide technical support to the GBC EC on this matter. Please provide to them all of the back-up of your data and give them direct access to the Truth Labs to review your alleged new evidence. In this way we can be prepared for a discussion.”

We appreciate that the GBC EC has replied to the Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation (JFSPF). And, as they appear to be still far from acknowledging that there’s very strong reason to suspect that Srila Prabhupada was criminally poisoned, we express here our understanding that it can be very difficult to accept that Srila Prabhupada was given poison with homicidal intent by those close to him in 1977.

In 1997, when the “whisper tapes” first surfaced on the internet, Dhira Govinda dasa was serving as chairperson of the Board of Directors of ISKCON of Alachua (New Raman Reti). Devotees naturally approached him to ask about his views in regard to the possibility that Srila Prabhupada was maliciously poisoned. Dhira Govinda dasa replied to them that he assumed that such allegations had no credibility, and were not to be regarded seriously. After a few weeks a senior, highly respected member of the community, and of Srila Prabhupada’s movement internationally, proactively mentioned this issue to Dhira Govinda dasa, and this Vaisnava asserted to Dhira Govinda dasa, that, as a leader in the community, he ought to genuinely, thoughtfully consider the reports that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned. At that time, Dhira Govinda dasa began to research the subject.

In 1997 Naveen Krsna dasa was serving as GBC Minister of Management and Finance, and had recently completed a stint as GBC Chairman. A devotee sent to Naveen Krsna dasa the “whisper tapes”, and asked that he listen to them. Naveen Krsna dasa, not giving much credence to the possibility that there was validity to the accusations, did not place this high on his priority list. After a few weeks, though, he did listen to these recordings from November 1977, where Srila Prabhupada speaks about being poisoned, and he realized that the issue of the alleged, deliberate poisoning of Srila Prabhupada, is critically significant.

Sometimes it is asked, “Who started these rumors that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned?” Well, Srila Prabhupada started these “rumors”. We place “rumors” in quotes, because this is not tawdry hearsay or gossip, as some would like you to believe. Srila Prabhupada reveals to us this pastime of his departure, and our emphasis is to directly hear from Srila Prabhupada. We empathize with those, including members of the GBC, who feel incredulous to the possibility that Srila Prabhupada was criminally poisoned. We were in that same boat. And, as materially conditioned souls, we’re subject and susceptible to be misled and misinformed. We suggest that it is the duty, the responsibility, for every sincere follower of Srila Prabhupada, and particularly for those in positions of leadership in ISKCON, the organization that Srila Prabhupada established, to hear from Srila Prabhupada in regards to his disappearance pastime. With respect to the issue of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, let Srila Prabhupada speak for himself.

While we note with appreciation that the GBC EC sent some response, the content of the reply itself, leaves us less than inspired and impressed. They seem adamantly resolved, despite overwhelming evidence, to remain attached and committed to the GBC’s official position, “There is no evidence at this time to support the allegations of poisoning of Srila Prabhupada.”

Certainly we wish that in 1977 members of ISKCON leadership had heeded Srila Prabhupada’s words that he was being poisoned, and that they had acted responsibly. And similarly, in 1997, when the “whisper tapes” were brought to the attention of the worldwide community of devotees, it would have been heartening had the GBC organized and implemented an honest investigation. In 2017, when news of the cadmium findings, as discovered by a leading, highly respected research scientist, emerged, the GBC had yet another opportunity to handle this issue with integrity. And again in 2022, and now again, in 2024.

With their statement, “In this way we can be prepared for a discussion”, the GBC EC seems to continue to insist that Srila Prabhupada’s words, the toxicology reports thus far presented, the confirmed “poison” whispers in the conversations from November 1977, the forensic medical assessment conducted by top experts: https://justiceforsrilaprabhupadafoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Salient-features-of-the-Truth-Lab-Final-Report.pdf

and on and on, still don’t constitute reasonable cause to suspect that there was foul play involved in the departure of Srila Prabhupada. Our wish is that the GBC would show a spirit of cooperation for understanding truths related to the assassination of Srila Prabhupada. It seems to us, though, and we hope we are mistaken about this, that they are determined to continue with tactics of diversion, delay, and disregard.

We will respond to the ISKCON GBC EC, and we are ready to communicate with representatives from the Bhaktivedanta Institute for Higher Studies (BIHS). In this connection we’ll mention that for several months the Executive Director of the BIHS, Brahmatirtha Prabhu (Mr. Bob Cohen), and Dhira Govinda dasa have been in communication, including in-person and correspondence, in connection with the disappearance pastime of Srila Prabhupada.

Words of Hope & Comfort

The poisoning of Srila Prabhupada, is a very difficult pill to swallow. When someone hears the tape, it shocks their system. It normally takes devotees years to fully digest and accept this reality. So many questions come to mind.

- Why would anyone think of poisoning a great saintly person like Srila Prabhupada?

- Why did Krishna not intervene? How did Krishna allow this to happen?

- How can the gurus whom we thought were the purest of souls, do something like this?

- Is this a personal vendetta and the evidence that is being presented has been manufactured for personal reasons?

- How could Srila Prabhupada be poisoned by the very people that he apparently picked as his successors?

We hear you and fully sympathise with you.

These questions, and many more, are natural for any devotee who is faithful to guru and the movement. This is because the foundation of the movement is surrender to guru. Many devotees in-fact have more surrender to guru than even Lord Krishna because their gurus are the accessible medium via which they can hope to serve the Lord eternally. Hence even the suggestion that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned is a very painful thought to entertain in one’s mind. To walk away from this subject and continue one’s Krishna Consciousness, as if nothing has happened, is the easiest thing to do.

But is this the right thing to do?

In fact, the very people who are involved in revealing this truth to the Iskcon community were also caught by complete surprise when the audio tapes were first discovered and heard properly in 1997. This is due to the fact that these devotees were not looking for malicious content from these tapes. They did not decide from day one that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned. Rather they investigated the suggestion from Srila Prabhupada himself in those tapes, that he was poisoned.

For 25 years, work was done with professional institutions and individuals globally to simply answer this question - Was Srila Prabhupada really poisoned? Or are we all just letting our imaginations run wild? With each year more and more evidence came forward, pointing to malicious intent by certain individuals. These suggestions of malicious poisoning were not investigated once or twice but over and over again to ensure that there was no ‘stone left unturned’. The committee wanted to make sure that we came to the right conclusion rather than be abrasive or presumptuous.

After all, suggesting that some of the most powerful people in the Iskcon movement poisoned Srila Prabhupada, is a very heavy allegation both individually and institutionally and not one that any sane individual would make lightly. If we were wrong, we’d feel terrible and we would have committed a great Vaishnava aparadha, with the stain of false accusation etched into our lives forever. If we were right, then the paradox is that we would look even worse, because the sinister nature within those that are still in power would make our lives hellish by turning their own followers against us. If they could poison the Acharya of Iskcon, then killing us would be a no- brainer. We still live in this knowledge that we could be attacked any time, and frankly this has already happened. Death threats, poisoning, and many others beyond the scope of this brief.

Either way, we had to ensure that there was enough evidence for us to believe that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned and that this evidence would also convince others of the same, should they take the time to consider all the material presented.

Hundreds of devotees, many of whom held powerful positions in Iskcon, are actually familiar with this subject and agree that there is undeniable evidence that Srila Prabhupada was criminally poisoned. Unfortunately, most of them are in a conundrum. If they speak out, the leaders of Iskcon will strip away everything – their positions, their means of income, their affiliation and most importantly their service. In other words, they stand to lose everything. This is the unfortunate position of many sympathisers to this cause. Iskcon is their life, their lifeline, their livelihood, their community, and some of their deepest and most cherished memories. To lose all of this in one go is the trump card that the malicious leaders hold up their sleeve. Hence we do have complete sympathy for devotees who wish not be named or do not have the ability to stand up. They are a bit like Bhismadeva when Draupadi was being stripped, in that they know the truth but cannot stand by it, because their bellies are fed by that very Institution.

However, there are devotees that have the fortune of not being completely dependent on Iskcon and therefore can make a stance.

What should Iskcon devotees do?

Srila Prabhupada discouraged blind acceptance, and also he didn’t advocate for blind rejection. In that spirit, we’re not asking you to uncritically believe a word we are saying. Rather we simply ask that each person who genuinely loves and appreciates Srila Prabhupada for what he has given us – Krishna Bhakti – makes a thorough investigation as to the sources of evidence presented by this committee of devotees. You may find that we are completely right, or you may find that that we are completely wrong. Either way, at least you have tried to look at the situation objectively.

My view is that the idea that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned should not rattle the faith of devotees who are mature and have understood our Vaishnava teachings. Pure devotees are often attacked in some way or another. Multiple attempted murders by Hiranyakashipu of his own son Prahalad, the beating of Haridas Thakur in twenty two market places, the killing of Abhimanyu (Krishna’s own student) and the crucifixion of Jesus.

We appeal to devotees who are convinced like we are, to stand and fight for the truth. Fight for Srila Prabhupada! Srila Prabhupada is living through his words, and his instructions.

If this can be done, then, with pride we can call ourselves followers of Srila Prabhupada.

"The members of the Experts' Committee, have been of the opinion that the cause and manner of death of Srila Prab hupada was the result of a well-planned homicide by using the toxic metallic poisons, mainly cadmium and interspersed with arsenic and antimony, without arousing any suspicion, that caused the resultant signs and symptoms mimicking that of natural chronic illness. "

"They were of the further opinion that the high levels of cadmium administered to Swami Srila Prabhupada in the last stage of his life and circumstances prevailed thereof were sufficient to cause his death in such a manner."

Our emphasis is to encourage followers of Srila Prabhupada, and everyone, to directly hear from Srila Prabhupada about his disappearance pastime, and thus we provide here a link to this presentation, provided by Truth Labs Forensic Services - poisoned.

“Hearing the audio files was an intense experience for me. I felt physically nauseous, and ice-cold in my bones, hearing the voices of Srila Prabhupada’s ‘caretakers’. I had not expected that reaction in me, as I’ve heard the recordings before. Also, and that impressed me more, when I was hearing Srila Prabhupada’s gentleness and softness, I felt like I was hearing the universe behind his words. It may sound a bit far out or esoteric, but that was my experience. I feel a million miles closer to Srila Prabhupada after hearing this recording. I feel deeply honored that I get to be so close to a person who is like Jesus. This is inconceivable for me.”

We may especially note the segment from 15:45-17:10, and Srila Prabhupada’s brilliant, ingenious use of his Rama-Ravana analogy.

Tamal: This seems like suicide, Srila Prabhupada, this program. It seems to some of us like it’s suicidal.

Prabhupada: And this is also suicidal.

Tamal: Hmm. Prabhupada said, “this is also suicide.” Now you have to choose which suicide.

Prabhupada: The Ravana will kill and Rama will kill. Better to be killed by Rama. Eh? That Marica- if he does not go to mislead Sita, he’ll be killed by Ravana; and if he goes to be killed by Rama, then it is better.

Srila Prabhupada, whose words stating that he was homicidally poisoned are confirmed by the forensic findings, clearly indicates that there with him, were representatives and followers of “Ravana”. In service to Srila Prabhupada it behooves us to cultivate the capacity to carefully differentiate, what does it look like to genuinely follow Srila Prabhupada (Rama), and where might we have allowed ourselves to be deviated and fooled by Ravana. Perhaps a Mark Twain quote is apropos here.

“It’s easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled.” – Mark Twain

Multiple times in our letter dated September 16, 2024, accessible here, we cited ISKCON GBC Year 2000 Resolution 617, stating, “There is no evidence at this time to support the allegations of poisoning of Srila Prabhupada.” Also we bring to your attention the GBC’s public statement dated December 8, 2017, at ISKCON News- stating “…the GBC is preparing a detailed response to the latest accusations…The GBC requests ISKCON devotees to focus their attention on serving Srila Prabhupada’s mission and to avoid hearing these monstrous accusations, until the GBC presents a response to the latest poisonous theories.”

Perhaps one or more of the recipients of this letter has received the “detailed response” to the poison allegations. If so, please send it to us. As far as we’re aware, the GBC has failed to produce the report it said it would issue. In 2022 one of the authors of this letter, Dhira Govinda dasa, personally wrote to 22 of the 35 signers of the GBC’s December 2017 issuance, requesting the report. He not only didn’t receive any “detailed response to the latest accusations”, he didn’t receive from any of the 22, what to speak from the GBC body as a whole, anything resembling accountability, for the GBC saying something and not following through. An excerpt from an essay Dhira Govinda dasa wrote in 2021-

“In that letter the GBC asserts that the idea that Srila Prabhupada was given poison with murderous intent, by those close to him, is ‘ghastly’, ‘dark’, ‘lacking credible evidence’, etc. And, as stated above, the GBC stated that they are ‘preparing a detailed response’.

“Okay, so, as far as I’m aware, they’ve not issued such a response. … it’s four years now. I haven’t seen the GBC response. Maybe, then, there is substance and credibility to the idea that Srila Prabhupada was given poison by persons with criminal intentions?”

Now, it’s about seven years, and still no report or response from the GBC. To us it seems clear that the GBC’s bluster from December 2017 was intended only as diversion and distraction, to stifle conversation and thought about the poisoning of Srila Prabhupada, and to prevent members of Srila Prabhupada movement from directly hearing from Srila Prabhupada. We invite and encourage all of us to hear Srila Prabhupada’s words about his disappearance pastime- poisoned.

Srila Prabhupada’s words, as heard in the 22-minute audio-video-text presentation, make it clear that he knew that he was being poisoned. Statements of those close to Srila Prabhupada in November 1977, make it unmistakably clear that they knew that Srila Prabhupada knew that he was being poisoned. Professional forensic audio analysis confirms whispers, in the background of these conversations, from caregivers of Srila Prabhupada. These whispers include, “The poison is going down”, and “Is the poison in the milk?” Forensic toxicology establishes that the level of cadmium in hair samples from Srila Prabhupada from 1977 is more than 220 x normal levels, and that the only plausible explanation for such levels is deliberate, homicidal poisoning. Medical assessment of Srila Prabhupada’s health condition and history reveal that “Srila Prabhupada’s health profile…” is “…fully compatible with cadmium poisoning”.

The GBC insists that there is “no evidence” to indicate that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned.

We’ve all been duped by the GBC. Okay, we acknowledge that a small percentage have been aware for a long time that, on the issue of the poisoning of Srila Prabhupada, the GBC has been consistently misleading, misinforming, and misguiding. Other than those few, we’ve been deceived by the coverup strategies of the GBC. Foremost amongst these strategies has been to discourage, divert and distract us from directly hearing from Srila Prabhupada. Each of us has the opportunity to not follow those who, to whatever extent consciously, or less than consciously, have entrenched themselves in service to what Srila Prabhupada metaphorically termed “Ravana”.

In our letter dated September 16th, 2024, we wrote, “We ask that the ISKCON GBC Executive Committee acknowledges receipt of this letter and packet before October 2nd, 2024, and responds to this letter before November 1st, 2024”. It is October 8th, and we’ve not received any acknowledgement of receipt from the GBC Executive Committee, or from any member of the GBC.

Let us be seers and speakers of the truth in the context of this Kali-yuga, rather than cheaters and bluffers, in all spheres, and, specifically relevant here, in regards to the actualities of Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance pastime. For ourselves and others, including current and former members of the GBC, let’s make it extremely uncomfortable to try to stay in the illusion that there is no evidence that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned. Let’s care enough about each other to not let each other fester in such delusion.

Also on Sept. 16th we wrote, “Please let us know before Nov. 1, 2024, whether you, the members of the GBC Executive Committee, are ready to meet and discuss with our team about the subject of this letter and future course of action related to the contents of this letter”. We would like to meet and discuss, in a spirit of cooperation in service to Srila Prabhupada, to reveal to the world the till now concealed truths related to the disappearance pastime of Srila Prabhupada, towards expanding awe and appreciation for Srila Prabhupada’s sublime, transcendental character and qualities.

GBC Resolution 617 from the year 2000 also states, “The GBC Body requests Naveen Krishna Das to give careful and dispassionate consideration to the case presented in the book Not That I Am Poisoned, and, after doing so, to enter into discussion with the Executive Committee for a resolution of this and any related issues.” Naveen Krishna Das, and others, have given careful and dispassionate consideration to the circumstances and realities surrounding the disappearance pastime of Srila Prabhupada. Naveen Krishna Das and our team are ready and eager “to enter into discussion with the Executive Committee”. Our hope is that the GBC will accept the report and findings of Truth Labs, confirming the infallible words of Srila Prabhupada. Our spirit towards members of the GBC is not one of labeling, or hiding behind judgements. Whatever has been one’s past in connection with disregarding the issue of Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning, or intentionally covering up, or vilifying, ostracizing and ridiculing those who have sincerely spoken truth, change is possible, and it’s possible, now. Breakthrough, swift, positive change in stance and attitude, is possible. Each of you is capable to shift your stance, and publicly acknowledge, something to the effect of, “There is ample evidence that Srila Prabhupada was given poison with homicidal intent. We, the GBC, as a body, and me, as an individual, have denied and concealed this for decades….” Please, come clean about this. Let us move forward with truth and affection for Srila Prabhupada, and enthusiasm for serving his movement in unity and cooperation.
